  • Publication number: 20100165346
Abstract: An apparatus for effectively detecting and calibrating a sample of examination system. The apparatus has an optics-electricity assembly for detecting the sample by a light and an elastically supporting assembly for providing motion freedoms to adjust the relative geometric conditions between the optics-electricity assembly and the sample. The elastically supporting assembly has a planer structure and a cubic structure, and provides both motion freedoms on a plane and motion freedoms vertical to the plane. The optics electricity assembly could analyze the received reflected light to get geometric information of the sample, and could adjust the light used to detect the sample.

  • Patent number: 6728391
Abstract: A multi-resolution label locator system divides an input image into a plurality of multi-pixel cells. The multi-resolution label locator system then creates a decimated image or low resolution image corresponding to the input image. The decimated image includes a common-characteristic value that corresponds to a multi-pixel cell of the input image. The multi-resolution label locator system identifies one or more areas within the decimated image that have characteristics corresponding to the characteristics of interest. While generating the decimated image, the multi-resolution label locator system simultaneously creates an edge-occurrence image that corresponds to the input image. The edge-occurrence image includes an edge value that corresponds to each cell of the input image. Each edge value represents the number of occurrences of an edge within the pixels of a corresponding cell of the input image.

  • Patent number: 5626828
Abstract: A synthetic zeolite, designated zeolite GZS-11, is made having a molar composition expressed by the formula:[x M.sub.2/n O+(1.0.+-.0.2-x)R.sub.2/n O]:Y.sub.2 O.sub.3 :y XO.sub.2 :w H.sub.2 Owhere M is an inorganic cation of valance n, R is an organic cation of valence n, "x" has a value of less than 1.0, Y is one or more of +3 valence elements, such as aluminum, boron, gallium, iron, chromium, vanadium, molybdenum, or manganese, X is one or more of +4 valence elements, such as silicon, germanium, or titanium, "y" has a value of between 6 to 25, "w" has a value of up to 4 depending upon the degree of hydration of the zeolite, and having an X-ray diffraction pattern of the as-synthesized zeolite substantially as in Table 1. The method for making the low ratio of XO.sub.2 /Y.sub.2 O.sub.3 such as SiO.sub.2 /Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 is achieved by adjusting the synthesis mixture composition during the aging stage through the addition of one or more of the solutions containing the reactive sources of zeolitic components.

  • Patent number: 5330736
Abstract: Zeolite L is made from an aqueous precursor mixture that contains from 0.1 to about 10% by weight of an amorphous aluminosilicate seeding gel which does not contain zeolite L. Using this mixture zeolite L can be made in a much shorter time than with a synthesis mixture without the seeding gel, and with substantially no zeolite T impurity. When made at temperatures below about 120.degree. C the zeolite. L has a disk-shaped morphology which is substantially free of zeolite T (offretite type).
