    Abstract: A method for detecting a cache-based side-channel attack includes utilizing a timer thread that continuously increments a variable in code of an application. The code has been instrumented such that the instrumented code uses the variable incremented by the timer thread to infer an amount of time taken for running a part of the code. A number of cache misses during execution of the part of the code is determined based on the amount of time. It is determined whether the application is experiencing the cache-based side-channel attack using a classifier which uses as input the number of cache misses.

    Abstract: A shell-like orthodontic appliance includes a shell-like body provided with a cavity accommodating a plurality of maxillary teeth. A sagittal adjustment portion is provided at a lingual side in an anterior region of the shell-like body. The sagittal adjustment portion is configured to adjust a maxillomandibular position relationship while at least to partially offset deformation of the shell-like body caused by occlusion, and the sagittal adjustment portion is at least partially connected to the lingual side in the anterior region of the shell-like body. The sagittal adjustment portion has a geometric structure configured to stabilize a maxillomandibular occlusion relationship and reduce a deformation of the shell-like body caused by occlusion while to adjust positions of teeth in a mandibular anterior region relative to a maxilla upward to target occlusion positions in a sagittal direction.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a data synchronization method, and this method may be applied to a database-related field. The data synchronization method provided in this application includes: a primary server sending, by using a data synchronization process, first data generated by a first process to a secondary server, wherein the secondary server synchronizes the first data; and the data synchronization process waking up a second process based on completion of synchronization of the first data by the secondary server, and the second process further waking up the first process to perform a subsequent operation. The data synchronization process disclosed herein does not need to wake up the first process that has completed data synchronization, but only needs to wake up the second process, and the second process wakes up the first process that has completed data synchronization.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a dental orthodontic appliance and a design method and a manufacturing method thereof. The dental orthodontic appliance includes a shell-like body, and the shell-like body is provided with a plurality of cavities for accommodating maxillary teeth, and the shell-like body is further provided with an upper palatal arch that reshapes a form of a dental arch. When the shell-like body interacts with teeth, the upper palatal arch can induce buccolingual lateral amplification of maxillary palatal suture bone deposition by means of deformation, and teeth in the posterior regions move laterally buccolingually under an action of the shell-like body.
