When the device orientation of the first electronic device is a first device orientation at a first time instant, the method includes: obtaining, by a first sensor of the first electronic device, a first sensing parameter indicating that the device orientation is a second device orientation at a second time instant after the first time instant; determining, based on the first sensing parameter, whether the second device orientation differs from the first device orientation, and obtaining a first determination; and generating a first instruction for entering into a voice record state when the second device orientation differs from the first device orientation and the second device orientation meets a predetermined condition.
