  • Publication number: 20240113514
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for a battery management system (BMS) having a protection circuit. In one example, a vehicle battery system may include the BMS, the BMS including a cutoff circuit electrically coupled to the protection circuit, and a battery pack, a positive supply line of the battery pack being electrically coupled to the cutoff circuit, wherein the protection circuit may include each of an input electrically coupled to a control input of the cutoff circuit, an output electrically coupled to an output of the cutoff circuit, and a control input of the protection circuit electrically coupled to the output of the cutoff circuit. In some examples, the protection circuit may further include a low-current leakage transistor configured to maintain the cutoff circuit in an OFF state upon detection of a reverse bias voltage. In this way, the protection circuit may mitigate unexpected switching ON of the cutoff circuit.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for a battery management system (BMS) having a protection circuit. In one example, a vehicle battery system may include the BMS, the BMS including a cutoff circuit coupled to a short-circuit protection circuit, and a battery pack, wherein the short-circuit protection circuit may include a diode array, cathodes of the diode array being coupled to a positive terminal post of the battery pack and anodes of the diode array being coupled to a negative terminal post of the battery pack. In some examples, the cutoff circuit may further be coupled to a reverse bias protection circuit including a switchable current path arranged between a control input of the cutoff circuit and an output of the cutoff circuit. In this way, the vehicle battery system may be protected from unexpected voltage conditions via the BMS redirecting and dissipating excess current away from the cutoff circuit.

  • Patent number: 11663544
Abstract: A method of early warning and risk assessment of incidents in a multi-tenant cloud environment is provided. The method includes: capturing a plurality of data metrics; automatically generating derived features from the plurality of captured data metrics; automatically selecting risk assessment features from the derived features and the captured data metrics; and predicting the risk of an incident in the multi-tenant cloud environment within a specified time window in the future and one or more possible root causes of the incident by applying the newly selected risk assessment features to a trained risk assessment model. The trained risk assessment model has been trained using machine learning techniques to predict the risk of an incident in the multi-tenant cloud environment within a specified time window in the future, provide an explanation of possible root causes of the incident, and assign a strength level to each possible root cause.

  • Publication number: 20230134412
Abstract: A serial transmission controller for processing data transmissions between a memory and an external device is provided. The serial transmission controller includes a microcontroller, a scheduling unit, a transmission unit, and an interception control unit. The microcontroller obtains pipe data from the memory. The microcontroller reads a transfer request block from the memory according to the pipe data. The scheduling unit generates a transmission request according to the pipe data and the transfer request block. The transmission unit transmits a packet of the transfer request block according to the transmission request, and correspondingly generates a transmission response. When the interception control unit receives the transmission response, and the data length that has not been transmitted in the transfer request block is greater than 0, the interception control unit notifies the transmission unit to continue to transmit a next packet of the transfer request block.

  • Patent number: 10016899
Abstract: The present invention relates to an elastic corrugated pipe single-acting cylinder-driven mechanical gripper with a series-connection loose-leaf hinge framework. The mechanical gripper consists of a palm and two flexible fingers or a palm and three flexible fingers. The flexible fingers are identical in structure, and each one of the flexible fingers consists of an elastic corrugated pipe single-acting cylinder and a series-connection loose-leaf hinge. Each one of the series-connection loose-leaf hinges has a hinge mandrel equipped with a torsion spring, and the characteristic parameters and pre-tightening angle of the torsion spring are optimally designed according to the features of a grasped object. The mechanical gripper is driven by the elastic corrugated pipe single-acting cylinder to generate a grasping force.
