  • Publication number: 20240024023
Abstract: Systems and methods for treating tissue are disclosed. The target tissue is ablated. A real-time image of the target tissue is generated during the ablation. The real-time blood perfusion level of the target tissue is determined from the real-time image and compared to an initial blood perfusion level of the target tissue. The comparison provides a metric for the progress of the ablation, and ablation is halted when the real-time blood perfusion drops below a threshold level relative to the initial blood perfusion level.

  • Publication number: 20230260121
Abstract: A real-time, intra-uterine operating field image is displayed to an operator. A processor identifies anatomical features and marks anatomical boundaries on the image with the aid of a trained classifier model. Labels for the identified anatomical features and the anatomical boundaries are displayed on the image. The trained classifier model is trained based on a set of prior surgical field images that have anatomical features and anatomical boundaries therein identified and marked, respectively, by previous operators. The trained classifier model is typically a convolutional deep neural network. The operator is allowed to modify the anatomical feature labels and anatomical boundaries, as well as update the set of training images with the modified image. The labeling of the anatomical features and establishment of the anatomical features facilitate performing treatments in the uterus, such as the ablation of uterine fibroids.

  • Publication number: 20220287763
Abstract: A control handle of a treatment probe is manipulated to advance and/or deploy one or more treatment structures into tissue. The treatment probe is coupled to a display to show an image field including target tissue for treatment. Virtual treatment and safety boundaries are overlaid over the image field. The boundaries include virtual stop positions for the needle and tines. A joystick or directional pad on the probe handle, operable independently from the user interface to advance and/or deploy the one or more treatment structures, can be manipulated to adjust the size and/or position of these boundaries. Sensors within the probe detect the real-time position of the one or more treatment structures, and the sensed positions are displayed in real-time. The user can observe the display to deploy the one or more treatment structures to the displayed virtual stop positions.

  • Patent number: 10784031
Abstract: A filter component assembly kit includes a bobbin that is configured with first and second members and a core that is in a quadrangular frame shape. When the first member is assembled with the second member, a through hole is formed in the bobbin. The through hole extends in a first direction. The core is configured with first and second extension bars. The first and second extension bars extend in parallel in the first direction. When the first extension bar is disposed in the through hole of the bobbin, rotation of the core around the first extension bar is prevented. First allowance of the first extension bar in a second direction, which is perpendicular to the first direction, in the through hole is larger than second allowance of the first extension bar in a third direction, which is perpendicular to the first and second directions, in the through hole.
