  • Patent number: 8140643
Abstract: A method of managing user personal information across a set of service provider sites is implemented, preferably as a web browser plug-in function. As a user navigates to a service provider web site and performs an interaction involving user identity attribute data, the interaction is recorded for later replay. Typically, the interaction is a graphical user interface (GUI) interaction. At a later time, previously-recorded interactions at service provider sites are replayed automatically, i.e., without requiring the user to navigate back to the individual sites and perform the interactions, and (during the replay operation) the user's previously-entered identity attribute data is located and retrieved. A display of the identity attribute data collected from the service provider sites then can be examined, e.g., for any inconsistency among the data.

  • Publication number: 20100281061
Abstract: A method, system, and computer usable program product for semantic data validation of disjoint data are provided in the illustrative embodiments. A mapping is performed for artifacts from a schema to artifacts in a selected ontology, creating a mapping graph having nodes. A first node in the nodes is analyzed using an inference algorithm. The analyzing determines a semantic error in a data corresponding to the schema artifact represented at a second node. A correction for the data is provided such that the correction eliminates the semantic error. Selecting the ontology includes receiving a set of ontologies from ontology sources. A subset of ontologies may be aggregated from the set of ontologies to form a super-ontology. A set of schema artifacts may be matched to a set of artifacts of the super-ontology. The super-ontology may be reduced to form a reduced ontology. The reduced ontology forms the ontology.

  • Publication number: 20080027939
Abstract: In general, the present invention provides a method, system, and program product for managing personal attributes across enterprise domains. Specifically, under the present invention, personal attributes for an end-user will be located among the enterprise domains. Once located, the personal attributes will be grouped into a set of profiles based on associated services (e.g., medical, insurance, etc.). The end-user can log into the system to see his/her personal attributes and to provide input regarding how access to the personal attributes should be controlled. Specifically, based on the end-user's input (and possibly other factors such as applicable legislation) an access control policy will be generated and used to control access to the personal attributes. In addition, any transactions involving the personal attributes will be recorded so that auditing can take place.

  • Publication number: 20070271271
Abstract: The invention provides a method, system, and program product for conducting a cross-organizational transaction audit. In one embodiment, the invention includes a first entity requesting that a second entity perform a task; a third entity creating a log of information related to the second entity's performance of the task and verifying to the first entity that the task was performed; the first entity examining the log to determine at least one of the following: whether the second entity's performance of the task was satisfactory and how the second entity used information provided by the first entity in performing the task; and the first entity verifying that the second entity's performance of the task was satisfactory.
