    Abstract: An NIR analyzer with the optical probes across a pipe, or in a bypass configuration, after a stabilizer in an oil or condensate production plant. Prior to use, liquid samples from the plant are analyzed in a chemical lab to obtain reference vapor pressure or compositional values. A chemometric model using known techniques is then built with the captured absorption spectra and the reference lab results. Preprocessing methodologies can be used to help mitigate interferences of the fluid, instrument drift, and contaminate build up on the lenses in contact with the fluid. The chemometric model is implemented through the NIR analyzer as the calibration curve to predict the vapor pressure or other values of the flowing fluid in real time.

    Abstract: A dialysis machine (e.g., a peritoneal dialysis (PD) machine) can include a patient line that provides dialysate solution to a patient and removes effluent dialysate from the patient through a catheter. During a drain phase of a PD treatment, an occlusion can occur at different locations in the patient line and/or catheter. A pressure sensor can detect a change in pressure of the fluid at the proximal end of the patient line to infer a potential occlusion in the patient line. Prior to setting an alarm to alert the patient of the blockage in the patient line, operating parameters of the PD machine can be changed to attempt to correct the issue. In an embodiment, the pump mechanism can be cycled at a reduced speed or a reduced rate in order to confirm the occlusion or attempt to alleviate the low fluid flow condition before the alarm is set.

    Abstract: A method for preparing a silicate/carbon composite from attapulgite, and use of the silicate/carbon composite are disclosed. The preparation method includes: (1) with attapulgite as a raw material, preparing SiO2 with a special structure; (2) dispersing the prepared SiO2 in water to obtain a suspension, and subjecting the suspension to ultrasonic dispersion; dissolving a metal nitrate in the suspension, adding NH4Cl, and adding ammonia water dropwise to the suspension; and adding sucrose to obtain a suspension; (3) subjecting the suspension to microwave hydrothermal reaction; after the reaction is completed, centrifuging a resulting system; and separating a resulting solid; and (4) subjecting the solid to high-temperature calcination in a muffle furnace, and grinding a resulting product to obtain the silicate/carbon composite, which can be used in photocatalytic ammonia synthesis.

    Abstract: In an anti-fuse memory reading circuit with controllable reading time, a reading time control circuit generates a control signal corresponding to reading time. Based on a clock signal, a programmable reading pulse generation circuit generates a reading pulse with a pulse width corresponding to the control signal. Based on the reading pulse and the control signal, the reading amplification circuit selects a pull-up current source corresponding to the reading time, pulls up a voltage on a bit line (BL) of an anti-fuse memory cell, reads data stored in the anti-fuse memory cell starting from a rising edge of the reading pulse, and latches the read data at a falling edge of the reading pulse. The anti-fuse memory reading circuit can generate a reading pulse with a corresponding pulse width and a pull-up current source with a corresponding size based on the required reading time.
