  • Patent number: 7529833
Abstract: A method, system and Web service broker with requester's explicit control for dynamic Web service invocation. In accordance with the method a Web service request is constructed by a Web service requester, in which invocation criteria customized by the requester are included and the Web service request is sent to a Web service broker. The Web service broker discovers and invokes Web service implementation candidates that meet the invocation criteria based on the Web service request and returns the best invocation result as well as a session identifier for identifying this service request to the requester. The requester can explicitly control the process of Web service invocations through customized Web service requests, thus delegating the whole invocation process to a Web services broker to reduce the complexity of client-side tasks. In addition, the Web service invocation allows a series of invocations with a consistent business sense to be directed to the same Web service interface.

  • Publication number: 20080299828
Abstract: An electrical connector (100) for mating with a corresponding plug (200) includes a dielectric housing (1) defining two contact areas (15) along an up to down direction. An outer shield (3) encloses the dielectric housing. A plurality of contacts (2) are retained in the contact areas. An inner shield (4) are mounted between two contact areas and comprises a pair of spring arms (42) extending into the contact area to lock with the plug and a resilient strip (43) extending into the contact areas to abutting against an outer side of the plug.

  • Publication number: 20080275231
Abstract: The present invention relates to a non-toxic process and system for pilot-scale production of cellulose products, and particularly to a process and system for pilot-scale production of cellulose products by using aqueous sodium hydroxide/urea solution pre-colled to lower than ?8° C., in which cellulose could dissolved rapidly. The said process and system can be used to produce fibers, films, chromatographic packings, or nonwovens of regenerated cellulose, as well as to produce a variety of high added-value products by adding other materials such as functional materials, nano-materials, etc.

  • Publication number: 20080263037
Abstract: The present description provides a method and an apparatus of indicating content search results. According to an embodiment of the present description, provided is a method of indicating content search results, comprising: inputting a search keyword; searching a match of the keyword among displayed contents and determining a location of the match on a display screen; and generating a directional hint indicating the location. In one feature, the present description permits a user to find a match result more conveniently and quickly and thereby improve the user experience. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20070009606
Abstract: The invention includes biostructures which may be characterized as having substantially all of the organic-solvent-soluble material in the form of a network of irregularly shaped perforated films. The biostructure may further include particles of a substantially-insoluble material, which may be a member of the calcium phosphate family. The biostructure may be osteoconductive. The biostructure may further contain an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient or other bioactive substance. The API may be a substance which stimulates the production of bone morphogenetic protein, such as Lovastatin or related substances, thereby making the biostructure effectively osteoinductive. One or more of the polymers may have a resorption rate in the human body such as to control the release of the API. Methods of manufacture are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20060018942
Abstract: The invention includes a method of three dimensional printing comprising manufacturing microbeads by an emulsion solvent extraction/evaporation process, followed by three dimensional printing onto powder layers comprising the microbeads. The invention also includes polymeric microbeads containing a bioactive substance or Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient, particularly a substance which stimulates the formation of bone, such as members of the statin family, or growth factors. The microbeads further may contain within themselves smaller particles such as particles of members of the calcium phosphate family, thereby being osteoconductive. The invention also includes aggregates of any of such microbeads together with any of various other types of suitably-sized particles, such as discrete particles of osteoconductive material or porogens. The invention also includes porous biostructures including macrochannels and having advantageous packing of osteoconductive particles.

  • Patent number: 6529642
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for enlarging/reducing digital images, which carries out the image scale conversion processing uniformly and smoothly according to the regional mapping method to create the mutual positional relation within the reference frame between the pixels of an original image and the pixels of a new image. By using this method, each of the new image pixels and the corresponding region of the original image pixels can be determined, moreover, the average method or the interpolation method can be used within this region to achieve the effect of scaling the digital images on a computer display or the device having a LCD display uniformly and smoothly without having the mosaic effect while enlargement and deformity while reduction. The image scale conversion processing can also be achieved at a high speed.
