    Abstract: A display device with dual display areas comprises a transparent substrate, a semi-reflecting layer, a first display area and a second display area. The transparent substrate has a first surface and a second surface, which is opposite to the first surface. The semi-reflecting layer is disposed on the first surface or on the second surface. The first display area comprises, in sequence, a first electrode, at least one first organic functional layer and a second electrode. The first electrode is disposed over the first surface of the transparent substrate. The second display area comprises, in sequence, a third electrode, at least one second organic functional layer and a fourth electrode. The third electrode is disposed over the first surface of the transparent substrate. The thickness of the fourth electrode is larger than the thickness of the second electrode.

    Abstract: A method of driving an organic light emitting diode using an applied voltage to increase the voltage of the anode is provided. The voltage of the anode is detected and compared to a reference voltage. When the voltage of the anode is lower than the reference voltage, a voltage source is applied to precharge the anode of the organic light emitting diode. When the voltage of the anode reaches the reference voltage, the precharge process is stopped. Alternatively, the reference voltage can be dynamically obtained using a sample/hold circuit to dynamically perform sampling on the output voltage of a constant current source.

Furthermore, another display apparatus with a mirror function comprises a transparent substrate, a first electrode, a second electrode, an organic light-emitting portion, and a mirror plate. In this case, the first electrode is disposed on one side of the transparent substrate. The second electrode is disposed on the first electrode. The organic light-emitting portion is disposed between the first and second electrodes. The mirror plate is positioned on an opposite side of the transparent substrate, which is opposite to the side disposed with the first electrode.
