    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a message transmission method and apparatus, a terminal, and a base station. In the method, a symbol or symbol group may be used as a granularity to select a plurality of symbols or symbol groups from one or more slots and then allocate the plurality of symbols or symbol groups to a same terminal for transmitting data. The plurality of symbols or symbol groups may be used for uplink data scheduling or may be used for downlink data scheduling. Therefore, a slot resource is allocated at a small granularity, so that a time domain resource is more flexibly allocated, and the slot resource is more fully utilized. This helps improve message transmission efficiency, thereby expanding a coverage area.

    Abstract: Lithium ion batteries are provided that include materials that provide advantageous endothermic functionalities contributing to the safety and stability of the batteries. If the temperature of the lithium ion battery rises above a predetermined level, the endothermic materials serve to provide one or more functions to prevent and/or minimize the potential for thermal runaway, e.g., thermal insulation (particularly at high temperatures); (ii) energy absorption; (iii) venting of gases produced, (iv) raising total pressure within the battery structure; (v) removal of absorbed heat from the battery system via venting of gases produced during the endothermic reaction(s) associated with the endothermic materials, and/or (vi) dilution of toxic gases (if present) and their safe expulsion from the battery system. In this way, during authentication, a terminal may compare a version number of the other party to perform identity authentication, thereby improving authentication efficiency.

According to the method, device, and system provided in embodiments of this application, an identity can be transmitted by using information in the TLS protocol, without extending the TLS protocol. This can avoid a compatibility problem caused by TLS protocol extension.
