    Abstract: An optical receiver implements a method to provide a digital output of a received on-off keyed optical signal. The method includes receiving an on-off keyed optical signal via a coherent optical front-end receiver utilizing a locally mixed laser LO for a reference signal to perform quadrature detection of the optical signal to generate an electrical signal, performing symbol/slot timing recovery on the electrical signal using a timing error detector, performing carrier frequency and phase recovery on a symbol/slot signal to generate a frequency and phase recovered signal, and demodulating the frequency and phase recovered signal via a demodulation circuit to provide a digital output representative of the received on-off keyed optical signal.

    Abstract: A UE configured for operation in a 5G NR network may decode RRC signalling from a generation gNB that includes a PUCCH-Config IE to configure the UE with a number of slots for PUCCH repetition. The UE may decode a DCI format scheduling dynamic PUCCH repetition per PUCCH resource when the DCI format indicates a PUCCH resource for the PUCCH repetition. The PUCCH resource may include a repetition number of slot and may be indicated by the DCI format comprising a starting symbol index and a number of symbols for repetition of the PUCCH within each of the slots of the number of slots. If the DCI indicates the PUCCH resource that includes the repetition number of slots, the DCI format schedules dynamic PUCCH repetition and the UE repeats the scheduled PUCCH transmission in accordance with the repetition number of slots per the PUCCH resource indicated by the DCI format, otherwise, the UE repeats the scheduled PUCCH transmission in accordance with a repetition number indicated by the PUCCH-Config IE.

The V2X-capable remote vehicle is capable of receiving and transmitting V2X communications. The method also includes receiving, by a user interface of the host vehicle, an input from a vehicle occupant of the host vehicle in response to identifying at least one V2X-capable remote vehicle. The input is indicative that the vehicle occupant wants to communicate a prerecorded voice message to V2X-capable remote vehicle. The method also includes transmitting the prerecorded voice message to the at least one V2X-capable remote vehicle in response to receiving the input from the vehicle occupant.

    Abstract: A model prediction-based control method for grid forming of multi-port autonomous reconfigurable solar plants includes: estimating and predicting system parameters by establishing a multi-port autonomous reconfigurable solar plant and a dynamic model of a synchronous generator model; converting an objective function into an unconstrained optimization problem, using Newton's method to achieve minimum computational burden within each calculation time step to find a solution in real time for obtaining an optimal angular frequency; based on results of the optimal angular frequency, updating an output voltage and a dq-axis current of the multi-port autonomous reconfigurable solar plant, and changing an arm modulation index of the plant, thereby realizing the plant's inertia and primary frequency modulation support. The model prediction-based control method provided by the present invention achieves rapid prediction during operation and improves frequency response, rapidity and system stability.

The system further includes a computer having one or more processors and a non-transitory computer readable medium. The processor is programmed to determine the location of the VRU and further determine the predicted collision between the second vehicle and the VRU. The processor is further programmed to generate a notification actuation signal associated with the VRU at a tracked location. The VRU notification device notifies the VRU that the second vehicle is headed toward the predicted collision site in the crosswalk.
