Abstract: The present invention discloses a display device and a manufacturing method therefor. The display device includes: a display screen, and a transparent cover plate provided above the display screen. The transparent cover plate includes an upper surface and two opposite side surfaces. The upper surface is connected with the two side surfaces to form a chamfer edge via chamfers respectively. The width of the transparent cover plate is not greater than that of the display screen.
