Abstract: The disclosure provides a method for detecting the conveyance status of a banknote, comprising; detecting whether the banknote reaches a first position in a banknote passage within a first predetermined time; detecting whether the banknote reaches a second position in the banknote passage within a second predetermined time when it is determined that the banknote has reached the first position (S14); determining whether the status of the banknote at the first position is changed from Banknote Detected to Banknote Undetected when it is determined that the banknote is withdrawn when it is determined that the status of the banknote at the first position has changed from Banknote Detected to Banknote Undetected (S18). This application can increase the possibility of the banknote processing device in detecting whether the banknote is withdrawn. Meanwhile, the disclosure provides a device for processing a banknote.

Abstract: A paper roll holder, a printer having the same and a paper end detecting mechanism are disclosed. The paper roll holder comprises a turning plate, which upper surface forms a first arc groove close to a rotation centre and a second arc groove far away from the rotation centre; an elastic element, providing a rotating torque to the turning plate so that the turning plate turns from an initial position to an upturning position during the printing and consuming of a paper roll; and a sensor, arranged in the second arc groove of the turning plate for detecting the paper. Wherein, the turning plate has the initial position suitable for supporting a large paper roll in the second arc groove and the upturning position suitable for supporting a small paper roll in the first arc groove. When the printing paper roll is near end, along with rotation of the turning plate, the small paper roll is limited in the first arc groove so as to prevent the small paper roll from moving in the paper house during printing.

Abstract: An apparatus for processing a recording medium with embedded information comprises: a passage mechanism including a first passage, a loop passage and recording medium conveying rollers, wherein a first opening and a second opening of the loop passage are connected to the tail end of the first passage; a first guide mechanism configured to selectively communicate the first passage with the first opening or the second opening of the loop passage; and a processing device including a magnetic head and a print head which are arranged in the first passage, wherein the magnetic head is arranged at a side of a recording medium inlet/outlet port which is adjacent to a leading end of the first passage. Abstract: A dot-matrix printer comprises a main frame, a first movable frame, and a second movable frame, wherein the main frame supports a printer head; the first movable frame supports a platen and a first paper feeding roller, and is pivotally connected to one end of the main frame via a first pivot shaft to permit itself to be opened or closed relative to the main frame; the second movable frame supports a second paper feeding roller, and is pivotally connected to the other end of the main frame via a second pivot shaft to permit itself to be opened or closed relative to the main frame; and wherein when the first movable frame and the second movable frame are closed relative to the main frame, the printer head is opposite to the platen to form a printing position; and the first paper feeding roller is tangent to the second paper feeding roller. The dot-matrix printer according to the present invention has two movable frames.
