  • Publication number: 20240048520
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for vehicle identification and device communication through directional wireless signaling. A user's device may include a directional wireless transceiver that may be used to provide wireless signaling in a specific target direction. The user may direct the device at a particular vehicle, where the vehicle may has a transceiver located within or attached to the vehicle that responds to the particular wireless signaling. The vehicle's transceiver may respond to the device of the user with a unique identifier that allows for communication with the vehicle's operator. The unique identifier may therefore allow for message content to be sent directly to a device for the vehicle's operator, or may allow for a service provider to process the message. Additionally, the vehicle's operator may establish privacy settings for communications, which may be utilized to determine whether the message content will be provided to the device.

  • Patent number: 11695748
Abstract: Systems and methods for sharing authentication between applications include receiving a request to share authentication from a first application with a second application. An account identifier and identity token for a user are obtained from the first application. Access to a communication application associated with the account identifier is verified as available. The account identifier and identity token are sent to a second application server for verification with a first application server. A verification message is received in the communication application from the second application server. The verification message is determined to contain confirmation information and authentication is shared from the first application with the second application. Related systems and methods include retrieving information associated with an operating system to facilitate sharing authentication between applications.

  • Publication number: 20220245616
Abstract: A machine-readable code is generated in response to a request from a first user. The request specifies a number of times or a time period during which the machine-readable code can be validly scanned electronically. The machine-readable code is displayed on a device of the first user. The machine-readable code is electronically scanned by a device of a second user. A determination is made as to whether a scan of the machine-readable code by the device of the second user occurred within the specified number of times or within the specified time period. An electronic interaction between the first user and the second user is performed response to the determination, while an identity of the first user or an identity of the second user is concealed from each other and from social media contacts of the first user and the second user.

  • Publication number: 20220164789
Abstract: In response to detecting a request from a first device associated with a first user to utilize a digital wallet associated with a second user, a computer system determines if the first user is authorized to utilize the digital wallet associated with the second user. Further, in response to determining that the first user is authorized to utilize the digital wallet associated with the second user, the computer system allows the first device restricted access to the digital wallet.

  • Patent number: 11257061
Abstract: In response to detecting that a battery level of a first computing device is below a threshold level, a computer system determines that a second computing device is within a threshold distance of the first computing device. In response to the determining that the second computing device is within the threshold distance of the first computing device, the computer system creates a reference identifier (ID) and transmits information corresponding to the reference ID to the second computing device. In response to detecting a usage of the information corresponding to the reference ID by the second computing device, the computer system transmits a request for authentication information. In response to determining that authentication is successful, the computer system transmits a payment from an account associated with a user of the first computing device to an account associated with a recipient.

  • Publication number: 20210383397
Abstract: Systems and methods for authentication and authorization using physical computing cards include receiving from the physical computing card an authorization request, where the request includes a card identifier and an entity location. Authorized users associated with the card identifier are determined. Identifications of users with pending transactions at the entity location are obtained. Verification is performed by determining that there is a match between an identification of a user to an identification of one of the authorized users. The user is then authorized to access resources associated with the physical computing card.

  • Patent number: 11171951
Abstract: There is provided systems and methods for device interface output based on biometric input orientation and captured proximate data. A user may utilize a device to enter a fingerprint input to perform various device or application functionalities. The user may vary the orientation of the fingerprint to limit user interface data output, change the data that is output, or lock the interface from data output. Fake data may be output in specific instances, such as high risk of data misappropriation. The device may detect the orientation based on changes in the orientation of the grooves and ridges of a fingerprint with respect to an axis of the device, and may also detect additional data to determine what interface output is required. The additional data may include pressure of the fingerprint input and/or voice data. A second device may also provide user biometrics as the additional data.

  • Patent number: 10594818
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for machine-readable code displays for retrieval of associated contact data by other devices. A user may establish a machine-readable code with a service provider that corresponds to contact data of selected associates of the user, such as friends, family members, or assistance personnel. The contact data may be directed encoded into the machine-readable code or may be stored with the service provider so that when the code is captured, the contact data may be retrieved. The machine-readable code may be displayed on a fixed physical object or output by a mobile device of the user. When an unknown user comes across the visual code, the unknown user may capture the machine-readable code so that the unknown user may communicate a status of the user (e.g., an injury, accident, or requirement needed by the user) to the user's established contacts.
