Abstract: An external nasal dilator includes a flexible substrate having a top edge, bottom edge, a left edge, and a right edge that collectively define an outer perimeter of the external nasal dilator. A left recess is along the left edge and a right recess is along the right edge. The left recess and right recess divide the flexible substrate into two laterally opposed upper lobes and two laterally opposed lower lobes. An upper section including the two laterally opposed upper lobes carries an upper resilient member upper resilient member that applies a first dilating force to the internal nasal valves. A lower section including the two laterally opposed lower lobes carries a lower resilient member that is distinct from the upper resilient member and applies a second dilating force to the external nasal valves. An intermediate section longitudinally separates the upper resilient member and the lower resilient member.
