  • Publication number: 20240136828
Abstract: Provided are a charging control method for battery system, and a charging control apparatus. The charging control method includes: under a condition that a battery with a smallest SOC in N batteries has been connected in parallel to the battery system, performing charging control on the battery system based on a difference between a SOC of a first battery not yet connected in parallel to the battery system and a SOC of a second battery already connected in parallel to the battery system; or under a condition that the battery with the smallest SOC in the N batteries has not been connected in parallel to the battery system, performing charging control on the battery system based on a difference between a voltage of a third battery and a voltage of a fourth battery.

  • Patent number: 11817563
Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a battery management system (BMS) wake-up method, a BMS wake-up apparatus, and a storage medium, and pertains to the field of battery safety technologies. In this application, before a BMS hibernates, a wake-up threshold corresponding to first sampling information is determined based on an obtained extremum of the first sampling information of a battery cell. After the BMS hibernates, a sampling chip collects second sampling information of the battery cell when the BMS is hibernating, and transmits a wake-up signal to the BMS when it is determined that the second sampling information of the battery cell reaches the wake-up threshold. In this way, the BMS can be woken up in a timely manner by the wake-up signal, and therefore the BMS can find battery safety problems in a timely manner.

  • Publication number: 20230344246
Abstract: A discharging control method and a charging control method for a battery pack control system are provides. The battery pack control system includes a master battery management unit and multiple slave battery management units. The master battery management unit controls the slave battery management units. The slave battery management units controls battery packs to connect to an operating circuit or disconnect from the operating circuit. In the discharging control method and the charging control method, a loop current generated from connecting a battery pack to an operating circuit is predicted each time before a slave battery management unit controls the battery pack to connect to the operating circuit, and the battery pack is controlled to connect to the operating circuit with the generated loop current within a safe value range.

  • Publication number: 20230219454
Abstract: This application provides a battery swap method, a battery swap station, and an electrical apparatus. The battery swap method includes: obtaining identity information of an electrical apparatus which requests a swap of a battery; authenticating the identity information; establishing communication with the electrical apparatus in response to a determination that the identity information passes the authentication; determining whether the battery in the electrical apparatus and a shared battery in the battery swap station satisfy a battery swap condition; and swapping the battery in the electrical apparatus with the shared battery in the battery swap station in response to a determination that at least one of the battery in the electrical apparatus and the shared battery in the battery swap station satisfies the battery swap condition. The batteries are authenticated in addition to authentication of the electrical apparatus, thereby improving reliability and security of authentication during a battery swap.
