Abstract: A mobile terminal and a control method thereof are provided. The mobile terminal includes a display module, a camera capturing an image of a person, a short-range communication module performing near field communication with at least one of another mobile terminal to acquire information items corresponding to the captured image, and a controller displaying at least one of the information items acquired through the short-range communication module with the captured image on the display module. The information about the person in the captured image can be acquired through near field communication, and thus information exchange can be easily achieved.
