Abstract: A cover for retaining a dispenser containing a plurality of safety razor blade cartridges to be employed with a razor of the type held with the fingers or the palm of the hand wherein the hand or finger gripping portion of the razor has a concave surface provided with a plurality of sinuous recesses formed therein. The dispenser cover is comprised of wall structure forming a substantially rectangular cavity for receiving and retaining a blade cartridge dispenser and one wall comprises an outer surface having a convex shape for mating engagement with the razor concave surface. A pair of sinuous outwardly projecting ribs for interfitting engagement with a selected pair of recesses on the razor gripping portion is disposed on the convex surface of the dispenser cover and serves to locate and retain the razor, dispenser cover combination as a unit for packaging and storage of the razor when not in use.

Abstract: A safety razor has a thin flexible metal foil member with a plurality of apertures, and an edge of each aperture is sharpened to define a shaving edge. The foil member is disposed on support surface structure and thin, flexible protective sheet structure with a skin-engaging surface extends about the perimeter of the metal foil member and is secured in overlying relation to the support surface and to the foil member with the apertures of the foil member exposed in shaving relation immediately adjacent and surrounded by the skin engaging surface of the protective sheet structure.

Abstract: A plurality of individual thin-walled generally disk-shaped blades are resiliently mounted in an elastomeric pad. The elastomeric pad, with its individually mounted blades, is disposed over a flexible sponge-like member. The shaving device is flexible and maintains maximum skin contact regardless of the contour of the area being shaved by providing that each individual blade is independently movable with respect to the other blades.

Abstract: A disposable razor blade assembly made up of a cartridge having blade means and including a shaving aid which expands when wet located on the cap portion of the razor blade assembly is combined with a removable, reusable overcap. The overcap forms a chamber which protects the user and the razor blade assembly of the safety razor and also includes a hood member integrally connected to the top wall of the overcap and extending over the shaving aid to provide clearance between the overcap and the razor blade assembly when the shaving aid has expanded.
