    Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, a sliding, bi-parting, service window may be operated by pressing on a push operator. In response to such push operation, a pair of bi-parting windows may be caused to slide apart sufficiently to provide a service opening. In some embodiments the windows may automatically close when pressure is released, for example, in response to the action of a weight that moves to a position of higher potential energy in response to opening of the windows.
