  • Publication number: 20230307768
Abstract: Retention assemblies are disclosed for retaining a battery cell stack/matrix relative to an enclosure tray on traction battery packs that include cell-to-pack battery systems. The retention assemblies may be positioned between a cell stack/cell matrix and an interior surface of the enclosure tray. The retention assemblies may include features such as slider panels, clips, adhesive, and/or shims designed for holding the cell stacks down at the cell stack-to-enclosure tray interface.

  • Patent number: 11200258
Abstract: A new approach is proposed to support grouping and storing a data stream based on the types of data items in the stream for efficient data batch processing and analysis. First, the data stream is uploaded to a cloud storage, wherein the stream of data includes a plurality of data items of different types generated by and collected from different users and/or devices. The data items are then retrieved, grouped and saved by a preprocessing unit into a plurality of batch data queues, wherein data items in each batch data queue are of the same type. One or more batch processing units are then configured to fetch and batch process data items from the batch data queues and store these data items of the same data type to one or more cloud storage files for further processing and analysis on the cloud storage one batch data queue at a time.

  • Publication number: 20210319386
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for capturing teammate-connection information and leveraging this information to improve services of a social networking service. The teammates feature allows users to identify a subset of their connections as teammate connections, which are connections that work directly with the user as a manager, a peer (person reporting to the same manager as the user), or a direct report. The teammate-connection information is used for improving services and notifications, such as new-connection suggestions, construction of the user feed, group conversations and messaging, notification prioritization, etc. Unlike existing connection patterns, the teammate-connections information is structured data. The structured data provides a better understanding of the relationships among the users and allows optimization of the user experience. In one aspect, a method is presented to generate recommendations of possible teammates for users of the social networking service.

  • Patent number: 8627250
Abstract: The invention provides a method and system for performing Static Timing Analysis on SoC (System on a Chip) designs. The invention solves a longstanding problem with timing analysis of designs, namely, the ability to multi-thread the design under analysis. The invention provides for slicing a design into levels, further decomposing each level into gates, and the multi-threaded processing of gates so that the solution of large design analysis is generated significantly faster than current approaches. Further, the invention provides that only one level exists in the RAM at any time. Once the arrival time on the level is computed, the data is saved to disk immediately. Because the memory footprint is sub-linear to the size of the design, entire system-on-a chip designs may be run on inexpensive, off-the-shelf hardware.

  • Patent number: 8205760
Abstract: A curved curtain rod formed by a curved telescopic rod and two fixing bases is revealed. The curved telescopic rod is formed by two curved tubes sleeved with each other while each end of the curved telescopic rod is connected to each fixing base respectively. The fixing base includes a pivotal base having a hollow cylinder mounted with a buffer part therein, a pivotal part whose one end is moveable and connected to the buffer part while the other end is a projecting rod connected to the telescopic rod, and a cover with a central opening covered around the pivotal base. One end of the pivotal part is limited in an inner side of the central opening while the projecting rod passes through the central opening to the outer side, moves and pivots so as to adjust the angle between the telescopic rod and the fixing base.

  • Publication number: 20090023572
Abstract: This invention provides capacity altering devices that facilitate the processing of samples whose volume exceeds the capacity of external sample processing regions (e.g., sample tubes or wells). The invention also provides holders that can be used with such devices, e.g., to allow centrifugation of the devices and/or to minimize handling of the external processing regions. Methods of processing samples, particularly samples whose volume exceeds the capacity of the external processing regions, and methods of collecting compounds in external processing regions are another feature of the invention.
