  • Publication number: 20240319702
Abstract: An apparatus includes a motor, a pinion coupled to the motor, a rack engaged with the pinion, and a housing body assembly configured to hold a working tool. The motor is configured to drive rotation of the pinion and the rotation of the pinion is configured to drive linear translation of the rack. The rack is operably coupled to the housing body assembly such that the linear translation of the rack is configured to urge the housing body assembly along a first axis in a first direction to move the working tool relative to a workpiece.

  • Patent number: 9036340
Abstract: A reversible folio for a tablet computer has a tablet shell with a cavity removably receiving the tablet computer. A keyboard is pivotally and removably coupled to the tablet shell. A channel is pivotally coupled to an edge of the keyboard. An interior of the channel removably receives the proximal edge of the tablet shell, and has a profile mating with a profile of the tablet shell. The channel and proximal edge have first and second symmetrical magnet arrays, respectively. The proximal edge of the tablet shell physically mates with the channel of the keyboard, and the second magnet array of the tablet shell magnetically mates with the first magnet array of the channel, in both a first orientation and an opposite second orientation.

  • Patent number: 8837131
Abstract: A folio for use with a tablet computer comprises a pair of leafs pivotally coupled together at a hinge with a keyboard carried by one of the pair of leafs, and another of the pair of leafs carrying the tablet computer and defining a cover for the keyboard in the closed configuration. A fixed top stop is fixed to the cover opposite the hinge and extends outwardly from the cover configured to abut to the tablet computer. A sliding shelf is movably coupled to the cover adjacent the hinge and opposite the fixed top stop to receive the tablet computer thereon in the open configuration. Bias means is coupled to the sliding shelf for biasing the sliding shelf towards the fixed top stop.

  • Patent number: 8817457
Abstract: A reversible folio for a tablet computer has a tablet shell with a cavity removably receiving the tablet computer. A proximal edge of the tablet shell has a symmetrical profile different from a non-symmetrical profile of the table computer. A keyboard pivotally and removably coupled to the tablet shell. A channel is pivotally coupled to an edge of the keyboard. An interior of the channel removably receiving the proximal edge of the tablet shell, and has a symmetrical profile mating with the symmetrical profile of the tablet shell. • Patent number: 8599542
Abstract: A reversible connection device to attach a cover to a tablet computer in two opposite configurations has a channel pivotally coupled to the cover to receive an edge of the tablet computer. The channel has a first magnet array to magnetically attach to a magnet array of the edge of the tablet computer in a first orientation of the tablet computer with respect to the cover and the channel. A tab is movably coupled in and carried by the channel and movable into the channel. The tab has a second reversed magnet array to magnetically attach to the magnet array of the edge of the tablet computer in a second reversed orientation of the tablet computer with respect to the cover and the channel. The second reversed magnet array has a reversed orientation with respect to the first magnet array of the channel.
