  • Patent number: 4458872
Abstract: The invention comprises a two-member bracket assembly each member cooperating with the other. A locking effect is produced on an article, such as a screw or bolt, securely mounted in a wall or the like. The first member includes a bight that is securely mounted to a frame or the like that is to hang on the wall. The bight via an aperture in it is thrust over, say, the screw-head of, the article in the wall. The second member cooperates by engaging the bight in the latter's cavity, sliding therealong and into a position on such article to lock the bracket assembly to such article. This locking effect is obtained by the second member including sections which define a slot that clips on to the article, say, behind the shoulder of the screw-head in the example above, that has been thrust through the aperture of the bight.
