An exemplary method includes providing meeting information to a server and/or a participant device prior to the online meeting and streaming audio content to participants during the meeting. The system and method allow online meeting participants to connect to and view meeting information using less network bandwidth during the meeting, compared to traditional online meeting systems and methods.

The present application relates to telecommunications, and more particularly, to a conference phone capable of being connected with wireless devices such that they can be used as microphone extensions. In one embodiment, the conference phone can include a wireless interface and a microphone. The conference phone can connect with one or more wireless devices through the wireless interface. The conference phone can receive audio from the one or more wireless devices and at the same time, can receive audio from the microphone on the conference phone. The audio received by the conference phone, through the one or more wireless devices and the microphone, can be combined into a single audio stream using an audio mixer. The teleconference phone can remove echoing effects that are within the audio stream and then transmit the audio over a telephone network.

Abstract: A system and method for providing a context aware call purpose announcement is disclosed. The method comprises receiving a telephone call from a calling party to a called party on a digital telephony network. An operational state of the called party's telephone is identified. The calling party is enabled to create a custom message for the called party when the operational state of the called party's telephone is identified as busy. The custom message is delivered to the called party through the digital telephony network to enable the called party to determine whether to receive the telephone call from the calling party.

The personal agent is configured to discover an availability of the corresponding member through selected availability policies submitted to the personal agent. A group agent is provided for the group configured to communicate with at least one personal agent in the group to report on the availability of the corresponding members of the group. An availability of at least one member of the group to communicate with a user about the selected subject over the digital communication network is determined using the group agent. The availability of the at least one member of the group is reported to enable the user to determine the availability of the group to communicate about the selected subject.

Abstract: A system is provided for a remote user having access to a remote voice communication system at a first location to implement user-defined features in an integrated communications platform at a second location. The system includes a personal assistant (PA) for implementing user-defined features on the integrated communications platform, and an Internet-enabled appliance having a remote policy application (RPA) for communicating user authentication and location information to the personal assistant (PA) over the Internet. In response, the personal assistant (PA) establishes a voice connection over the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) between said the integrated communications platform and the remote voice communication system thereby enabling remote access to the user-defined features.
