Abstract: The present invention is related to a flashlight holder for protective helmets, hardhats or the like comprising a carrier element adapted to accommodate within its inner walls a standard flashlight, an adjustment means connected to the carrier element and provided to adjust the carrier holding the flashlight in the position required by the protective helmet wearer. A mounting adaptor means is connected to the carrier element by the adjustment means and provided to releasably attach the holder to the protective helmet. The holder is attached to the side of the helmet and adjustment means are located at the lower extremity of the carrier element. Those adjustment mean comprises a swivel ball-socket arrangement. Another embodiment comprises a carrier integrally connected to an outer wall or casing of the flashlight element.
