Abstract: The present invention relates to a drill bit extension assembly comprising: a shaft; a chuck, where said chuck is attached to one end of the shaft and includes a mechanism for holding a drill bit; and an attachment end, where the attachment end is opposite to the chuck end of the shaft. The shaft may be a hexagonal shape with a quick release tip and designed various lengths, such as 3, 6 or 12 inches in length. The mechanism for holding a drill bit may include a plurality of jaws. The chuck may include an adjustment knob, where said adjustment knob opens and tightens the plurality of jaws.
