  • Publication number: 20190164183
Abstract: A method is provided for updating the price of an item, where a reference to the price is stored in an electronic database, the method comprising using at least one processor configured with code executing therein, a memory for storing the code and a communication to at least one database of references to inventory available for sale, wherein the processor is configured implement the steps of generating a filtering protocol using one or more pre-set pricing criteria, storing the filtering protocol in a database and retrieving pricing data for comparable inventory from an inventory exchange server. Additionally, a step filtering the retrieved pricing data using the filtering protocol and calculating a price for inventory based on the filtered dataset is performed by a suitably configured processor. A step of updating the price reference reflect the newly calculated price is also performed.

  • Publication number: 20190012633
Abstract: In one particular implementation, an access credential inventory management system is provided. In a particular configuration, the system includes at least last one database configured to store one or more listings of credential inventory data, wherein the credential inventory data includes at least a data object corresponding to each of a plurality of access credentials, wherein the data object includes a value indicative of the availability of the associated access credential. The system also includes a processor having a memory and configured to receive the data object that includes reference to listing of access credentials, wherein each listing includes reference to at least one access credential and determine the number of access credentials referenced by the listing of the data object.

  • Publication number: 20190012688
Abstract: A method for evaluating price functions for access credentials, the system comprising: accessing, using a processor having memory and configured by cod, a venue map from a venue map database; receiving a data value corresponding to an uncategorized access credential for an event occurring within the venue, obtaining, from an access credential database, a dataset of access credentials for purchase, where each access credential for purchase includes at least one data feature having a common characteristic with the uncategorized access credential; determining a market value for each of the access credentials within the dataset; adjusting at least one pricing data value of the uncharacterized access credential in response to the determined market value for each access credential in the dataset; accessing, from a pricing function database, a pricing function for the uncharacterized access credential; wherein the pricing function receives as at least one input the price of access credentials within the access crede

  • Publication number: 20190012330
Abstract: A system provided includes at least one database configured to store credential inventory data, wherein the credential inventory data includes at least a data object corresponding to each of the plurality of access credentials, wherein the data object includes a value indicative of the availability of the associated access credential. A processor is provided that is configured to access a virtual map of the given event wherein the virtual map includes a plurality of sections. The processor is also configured to receive from one of the one or more remote databases the credential inventory data and assign, using the features associated with each of the plurality of access credentials, each of the plurality of access credentials to one of the plurality of sections of the virtual map. The processor is further configured to generate a visual marker for each of the plurality of section as a function of the percentage of access credential available within a given section.

  • Publication number: 20190012615
Abstract: By way of non-limiting implementation, a system is described for displaying linked inventory objects within a virtual venue map. In one particular configuration, at least one database is configured to store a plurality of data values corresponding to one or more event access credentials, wherein at least one data values associated with each event access credential includes a reference to one or more additional event access credentials linked to a given event access credential and at least one data value that provides a unique location identifier. The system also includes a processor having a memory and configured by code to access the virtual venue map from one or more remote map servers, wherein each virtual map includes a plurality of unique location elements. The processor is further configured to associate each access credential with one of the plurality of unique location elements of the virtual venue map.

  • Publication number: 20030018745
Abstract: A system and method for creating and distributing virtual channels of digital video content. Initially, a first entity is enabled to acquire digital video content from one or more sources and store the digital video content into a database storage device. Next, the first entity is enabled to select digital video content and group the selected digital video content to form virtual specialty channels, each virtual specialty channel having content customized for a particular viewer base. The created virtual specialty channels are stored in the database storage device which is accessible by a second entity over a public communications network. The second entity comprises infrastructure for delivering virtual specialty channels to individual viewers over a broadband communications channel.
