Abstract: Provided herein in some embodiments is an instrument including an annular body, a plurality of caliper-tip pairs, and a plurality of through holes. The annular body includes an inner perimeter portion, an outer perimeter portion, and a medial portion in-between the inner perimeter portion and the outer perimeter portion. The plurality of caliper-tip pairs are disposed about the outer perimeter portion of the annular body, wherein each caliper-tip pair of the plurality of caliper-tip pairs has a different fixed caliper-tip spacing. The plurality of through holes are disposed about the medial portion of the annular body in pairs, wherein each pair of through holes of the plurality of through holes has a through-hole spacing matching the fixed caliper-tip spacing of at least one caliper-tip pair of the plurality of caliper-tip pairs.

One or more objects have one or more routing hints assigned to the objects. The request router manager groups the associated objects into one or more object sets based on the object class and the routing hints of the objects, and evaluates predefined routing rules based on the object sets to determine a destination server group name that identifies a destination server group for the request. The request is forwarded to the destination server group based on the destination server group name.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for dynamically allocating and routing resource in a wireless communication system. The system includes at least one scheduled resource, a first terminal having a resource requirement and configured to acquire an alternate resource in response to an out-of-band signal, and a controller. The controller is configured to determine the alternate resource from the scheduled resource, schedule the alternate resource for the first terminal based on the resource requirement, and direct the first terminal to a set of frequencies of the alternate resource via the out-of-band signal The method includes determining an alternate resource in the wireless communication system from scheduled resource uses, scheduling the alternate resource for a terminal based on a scheduled resource use of the terminal, and directing the terminal to acquire the alternate resource at a set of frequencies of the alternate resource.

Abstract: Highly configurable software apparatus for recognizing and manipulating user-defined patterns in an input data stream. It allows the user to define unlimited combinations and sequences of patterns, and actions to perform when patterns are recognized. Patterns are defined in terms of user-defined sets. Patterns are linked in graph-like structures. As the input stream is scanned the apparatus progresses from one pattern (subpattern) to the next. The rules the apparatus follows to make transitions from one pattern to the next can be configured. Configured actions are performed as patterns are recognized in the input stream.

Abstract: A user-definable pattern searching apparatus is presented, composed of a graphical user interface to capture user pattern definitions and create a Pgraph of nodes defining the search and a traversal engine to use the Pgraph to search an arbitrary input stream of character patterns.
