A pair of rotating, knurled drums are provided in the hopper and raw oats are fed from the feed barrel through top slots or openings in a feed auger tube to a rotating feed auger inside the feed auger tube, which feed auger distributes the raw oats through bottom slots in the feed auger tube, to the rotating drums for dispensing through the lower portion of the hopper into a collection container.
