Abstract: An egg poacher for poaching one or more eggs in a microwave oven. The egg poacher includes a base member for holding water and an egg cup for holding a raw egg covered by water. The egg cup is removably supported by an upper portion of the base member so that the egg cup, in use, is partially submerged in the water in the base member. The egg cup is configured to be spaced from an adjacent wall of the base member so as to provide a gap between a side of the egg cup and the adjacent side of the base member so that, in use, water in the base, in combination with water covering the raw egg, creates a water shield that surrounds the raw egg.

Abstract: A cooking apparatus for the cooking of bacon in a microwave oven, the apparatus including a base member and a lid which is removably co-operable therewith, wherein: the base member including a bottom and a peripheral side wall extending upwardly therefrom, the bottom of the base member having an inside cooking surface being of an arcuate shape when viewed in end elevation such that the cooking surface is higher at a centre portion of the arcuate shape than at an end portion, such that liquids can run from the centre portion to the end portion, the cooking surface of the base member further including a plurality of spaced-apart ribs extending substantially transversely thereof; and wherein the lid includes a top and a peripheral side wall extending therefrom, wherein the lid, when viewed in end elevation, curves from the top to the peripheral side wall.

Abstract: A dispensing closure assembly for a container includes a main body member which is adapted, in use, to be releasably affixable to the container, that main body member including a dispensing outlet and a control member, releasably associated with the main body member, and closure member which is releasably associated with both the main body member and the control member such that movement of the control member allows for selective and controlled movement of the closure member between respective end positions into, and out of, engagement with the dispensing outlet of the main body member.

Abstract: A container for storage is provided which includes, as principle components, a base member (1) and a lid (100) therefor, with the lid (100) in use overlaying said base member (1) in a sealing relationship, with both the base member (1) and lid (100) having associated therewith a strip or base (5.104) of a colour different to the remainder of the base member (1) and lid (100) respectively, the strip or band (5) of the base member (1) being of the same colour as the strip of band (104) of the lid (100), thereby to allow for ready matching of the lid (100) with container base (1).

Abstract: A brush, or mop, or like tool (1) has a handle (5) and a head (7). The handle (5) is able to carry a liquid that can be dispensed therefrom during use of the tool (1). The handle (5) has a liquid dispensing passage (51) through which the liquid can pass to an outlet (17). The passage (51) has a valve (19) to control the passage of the liquid and the valve (19) has a sliding gate part (65) and a stationary gate part (49). The sliding gate part (65) can be positionable to block the flow of liquid in one position, and to permit the flow of liquid in another position. The sliding gate part (65) effects a sliding wiping cleaning of the valve (19), and therefore minimize clogging of the valve (19).
