Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing a waste product and producing a synthesis gas is provided. The system includes a sealed, heated rotatable drum for preheating and preparing the waste material suitable for a plasma reactor, and processing the material in the reactor. The synthesis gas created by the reactor is used to preheat the waste material by circulating the hot synthesis gas around the drum. In an alternative embodiment, the hot synthesis gas flows through the drum to preheat the waste material and to clean the synthesis gas. Different methods of cooling and cleaning the synthesis gas are used. The system may comprise two plasma reactors in combination with a rotating desorber drum.

Abstract: A vehicle comprising a combustion engine capable of delivering mechanical power for driving at least one wheel drive shaft with driving wheels, auxiliary vehicular electric loads, an alternator powered by the combustion engine for generating electricity, an electric storage device for storing alternator generated electricity, and at least one auxiliary electric power supply for supplying electrical energy to said electric loads. The auxiliary electric power supply includes a fuel cell system with an anode fuel input and a cathode fuel input, and an electrolyzer which is capable of generating hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen production side of said electrolyzer is in fluid connection with the at least one anode fuel supply.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for desorbtion is disclosed that utilizes enhancements to lessen the amount of entrained particles formed during desorbtion and for lowering the operating and capital costs associated with desorbtion equipment. Multiple stage desorbtion is contemplated using multiple drums, with smaller drums being employed for volatizing the waste components that require high temperatures. The method and apparatus may include an eductor scrubber attached directly or adjacent to the gas extraction port of a drum to prevent fouling of system apparatus. A plunger for cleaning the scrubber suction chamber is provided. The method and process may include injecting hot gas, which may be exhaust gas from a burner apparatus, into one or more desorption drums to lower heating costs.

The rule based routing system and method matches employee skills with a customer profile thereby facilitating improved customer service and identifying cross-sell opportunities. The rule based routing system and method identifies a call profile for the call, matches the call profile to 3 sales and service resource profile representing an identified resource, generates an instruction signal and routes the call to the identified resource in response to the instruction signal. The virtual sales and service center is monitored for overflow or overload conditions and load balancing and overflow rules are applied to the call in response to detection of overflow or overload conditions. The customer profile includes a language type, a customer type, a business segment identifier, a request type and a product associated with the customer.

Abstract: A context manager for providing a framework for enabling continuous customer access resource innovation by maximizing open business processes. The context manager allows multiple combinations of users to access various business processes through multiple types of customer access resources. The context manager includes a context manager management interface for creating a context manager object for a session, the context manager object providing a bridge from customer access resources to business processes and maintaining a context of the session across customer access resources.

Abstract: An expert system is described for use in designing a connected collection of components which are available or can be made in different forms, e.g. which can be described by a selected number of variables. The expert system includes a knowledge base and an inference engine. The knowledge base includes records pertaining to constant and variable characteristics of connectable components and rules for combining a component with other components. The inference engine allows selecting a record for a first component, then a record for only those second components which can be connected to the first component, and storing information about the connections.
