  • Publication number: 20240109694
Abstract: A drinking vessel including a beverage container and a closure assembly attachable to the beverage container. The beverage container has a spout defining a first drinking opening and a second drinking opening. The closure assembly includes a positioning member and a sealing member. When the positioning member is in a sealing orientation, the positioning member can extend deep enough into the first drinking opening for the sealing member to seal the first drinking opening and the second drinking opening. When the positioning member is not in the sealing orientation, the positioning member cannot extend deep enough into the first drinking opening for the sealing member to seal the first drinking opening and the second drinking opening.

  • Publication number: 20210091710
Abstract: An earth mount enabled utility scale solar photovoltaic array is arranged on the ground so as to establish an azimuth-independent earth orientation of the solar panels. An interstitial layer buffers the solar panels from the ground, so as support of the solar panels by the ground through the interstitial layer, so that the panels achieve contact through the interstitial layer. At least a subset of the solar panels are each supported through the interstitial layer with the ground at edge frames of the panels. The panels rest on native topography or a smoothed or substantially flat portion of the ground, and the edge frames of the solar panel rest, through the interstitial layer on a ground support area capable of supporting the edge frames by receiving edge frames of a plurality of panels.

  • Patent number: 9739195
Abstract: A system for increasing air flow across a heat exchanger of a vehicle is described. In one particular example, the system comprises a charge-air cooler coupled via upper and lower brackets to a vehicle body, and an axial dual fan connected to the upper and lower brackets via one or more isolators. With this arrangement, the cooling system described allows for vehicle performance to be enhanced while also increasing the durability and robustness of the system and reducing the noise produced therefrom.

  • Patent number: 9267419
Abstract: A convex fan shroud for use with an automotive engine cooling system having a fan and a fan-cooled, liquid-to-air radiator is disclosed. The convex fan shroud has an optimized shape that leads to high air flow rates through the radiator. The convex fan shroud includes a front frame that defines an air-intake opening, a convex top wall connected to the frame, a convex bottom wall connected to the frame, and a pair of opposed convex side walls connected to the frame and to the top and bottom walls. The interior surfaces of the walls are smooth. The convex walls define a barrel-shaped shroud body that includes a round engine-facing opening to accommodate the fan. In addition to generating a higher flow rate, the disclosed inventive concept for a smooth convex fan shroud is relatively low cost to produce and has a relatively high degree of rigidity.

  • Patent number: 9038607
Abstract: An air cooler line is provided. The air cooler lines includes a first air cooler having a plurality of air flow conduits, each of the air flow conduits including an inlet, and a first air flow deflector extending across peripheral portions of the inlets and fixedly coupled to the air flow conduits and a second air cooler having a plurality of air flow conduits, each of the air flow conduits including an inlet, and a second air flow deflector extending across peripheral portions of the inlets and fixedly coupled to the air flow conduits, the second air flow deflector differing in at least one of size and geometry than the first air flow deflector.
