    Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the dyeing of cellulosic fibers in the form of a comminution sheet to produce a dyed cellulose pulp comminution sheet with high moisture content. The dyed cellulose comminution sheet contains (a) a cellulose pulp comminution sheet having a cellulose content of from about 60 weight percent to about 99.9 weight percent cellulose based on the total weight of solids in the cellulose pulp comminution sheet, and a density of from about 0.3 g/cm3 to about 0.95 g/cm3; (b) a moisture content of from about 25 weight percent to about 55 weight percent, based on the total weight of the dyed cellulose comminution sheet, wherein the moisture content does not exceed bleed point of the comminution sheet; and (c) a dye.
