Abstract: A ceramic monolithic multi-channel module support (10) has a module hydraulic diameter (102) in a range about 9 to 100 mm, an aspect ratio of the module hydraulic diameter (102) to a module length (104) greater than 1, a plurality of feed flow channels (110) distributed substantially in parallel over a module cross-section, the plurality of feed flow channels (110) having a size and shape defining a channel density in the range of about 50-800 channels/in2 (7.8-124 channels/cm2) in a module frontal area, a channel hydraulic diameter (112) in the range of about 0.5-3 mm, a rim distance (120) having a thickness greater than 1.0 mm (0.04 in), and a percent open frontal area (OFA) in the range of about 20-80%.

Abstract: A multi-channel modular device (10) processes between two fluid streams of different compositions. The device (10) includes a porous body (150) having a first plurality of feed-flow pathways (110) disposed in the body (150) for transporting a first stream (180). A pathway wall (114) surrounds each of the first plurality of feed-flow pathways (110) for processing the first stream (180) into a first composition (1852) and a second composition (1802). At least one feed-flow inlet (1101) is disposed in the body (150) for introducing the first stream (180) into the first plurality of feed-flow pathways (110). At least one feed-flow outlet (1102) is disposed in the body (150) for discharging the remaining first stream containing the second composition (1802). Abstract: Apparatus and a method for controlling gas flow into a combustion engine exhaust gas filter e.g., to control filter temperatures during filter regeneration, comprising providing a fluidic exhaust stream diverter proximate to and centrally of the inlet face of the filter and activating the fluidic diverter to divert exhaust gas flow away from central filter portions toward peripheral filter portions.

Abstract: A divider for a tunnel oven converts the moving surface of the oven into at least two lanes so that two or more different brands or types of articles can be dried without intermixing. The divider comprises at least one cable guide mounted to the tunnel oven housing at the inlet and the outlet of the oven. The cable guides extend downwardly to a point adjacent to and above the moving surface. A cable extends the length of the oven from one cable guide to the other and effectively divides the moving surface of the oven into two lanes. In a preferred embodiment there is a pulley wheel at one end for reversing the direction of the cable to provide a two strand divider and a ratchet wheel for adjusting the cable.
