  • Publication number: 20200134032
Abstract: Computer-implemented techniques for constructing structured database query language statements from natural language questions are disclosed. In some embodiments, a knowledge graph-based approach is employed to construct a structured database query language statement such as, for example, a Structure Query Language (SQL) statement, from a natural language question. The approach encompasses a domain knowledge graph model and a database schema wiring model. The domain knowledge graph model represents domain-specific knowledge about the underlying database data in the form of a graph having nodes and directed edges between the nodes. The database schema wiring model maps routes in the domain knowledge graph to database schema elements. The techniques allow a natural language interface system to accurately translate domain-specific natural language questions posed by users to structured database query language statements that can be executed against a structured database to answer the natural language question.

  • Publication number: 20200125491
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to retrieving data from an in-memory cache, such as that for a database system. In various embodiments, an in-memory cache receives a request from an application for data, where the request specifies a class having a function executable to access the data from a location external to the cache in response to a cache miss. The cache handles the request such that the cache miss is not returned to the application. Specifically, the cache, in some embodiments, determines whether it stores the requested data, and in response to determining that it does not store the data, calls the function of the class to access the data from the location external to the cache and receives the data returned by the execution of the function. The cache then stores the received data in the cache and returns the received data in response to the request.

  • Publication number: 20200126366
Abstract: An arcade game includes a rotating and tilting prize receptacle for rotating captured prizes past an RFID antenna and dumping captured prizes back into the playing area. To improve the accuracy of reading RFID tags on the prizes, the receptacle spins to pass the captured prizes past the antenna multiple times. Each RFID tag may be assigned a serial number that is read by the RFID reader to assure that captured prizes are not counted multiple times. After the RFID tags have been read, the receptacle is tilted, preferably while still spinning, to dump the prizes back into the playing area. The captured-prize handling apparatus may include a lighted tower that surrounds the electro-mechanical elements and attracts attention to the game. The receptacle is shaped to urge the captured prizes into a position within the receptacle that enhances accurate reading of the RFID tags.

  • Publication number: 20200120066
Abstract: The technologies described herein identify multiple electronic devices belonging to the same group. A computer system receives, from network accessing applications of a plurality of electronic devices, internet protocol (IP) trajectory information about the network accessing applications via a network. The IP trajectory information includes a user identifier, a list of IP addresses associated with each of the network accessing applications, and timestamps specifying times each of the network accessing applications accesses the network. The computer system identifies and removes commercial IP addresses from the list of IP addresses, analyzes IP trajectory information to retrieve a most commonly used IP address for each of the network accessing applications during a certain period, and determines that different network accessing applications belong to the same group if the most commonly used IP addresses for the different network accessing applications are the same.
