    Abstract: A hand sanitizer having first and second compartments in which the first compartment includes an access permitting user's hands and forearms to be inserted and an ozone generator for sanitizing the hands. The second compartment houses an ultraviolet source for converting ozone present in said second compartment into molecular oxygen and includes also an access permitting user's hands and forearms to be inserted. The ozone concentration in the first compartment is maintained at a predetermined level.
