    Abstract: A cake and pastry decorating system incorporating a hand-held icing mixing wand having a mixing chamber and a dispensing nozzle. Base icing is supplied to the mixing chamber and one or more colorants are selectively supplied through a flexible hose to the mixing chamber. Icing is dispensed from the mixing chamber through the dispensing nozzle directly on the cake or pastry in patterns determined by the position of the hand-held icing mixing wand and shape of the dispensing nozzle.
