  • Publication number: 20240175974
Abstract: An indoor positioning device includes memory circuitry, processor circuitry and an interface. The indoor positioning device is configured to obtain, from one or more sensors of a wireless device, sensor data associated with the wireless device at a first position. The indoor positioning device is configured to obtain, from one or more beacons, measurement data indicative of a distance parameter of the wireless device at the first position. The indoor positioning device is configured to adjust the measurement data by predicting, based on the sensor data and the measurement data, an estimated position of the wireless device. The indoor positioning device is configured to determine, based on the adjusted measurement data and the estimated position of the wireless device, an updated position and/or an updated distance parameter associated with the wireless device.

  • Publication number: 20210141987
Abstract: An electronic device is disclosed, the electronic device comprises a memory circuitry and a processor circuitry comprising a simulation circuitry, an inference circuitry, and a learning circuitry. The electronic device comprises an interface circuitry. The processor circuitry is configured to obtain first primary sensor data from a sensor circuitry. The processor is configured to generate, based on the first primary sensor data, simulated prediction data at the simulation circuitry. The processor is configured to generate, based on the first primary sensor data, first prediction data at the inference circuitry. The processor is configured to generate, based on the simulated prediction data, second prediction data at the inference circuitry. The processor is configured to generate, based on the first prediction data and the second prediction data, a set of configuration parameters at the learning circuitry. The processor is configured to provide, to the sensor circuitry, the set of configuration parameters.

  • Patent number: 9430718
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to methods and computer program products for searching for a similar image among a plurality of stored images, and in particular to a method and computer program product used in a content based image retrieval system where roughly similar images are clustered and feature vectors for the clustered images are filtered based on a matching frequency for the feature vectors among the images in the cluster.

  • Patent number: 9311342
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to methods and computer program products for storing images in a computer memory, and in particular to a method and computer program product for storing a plurality of JPEG encoded images in a tree data structure, wherein common parts of images in upper tree nodes are utilized for compressing images in lower parts of the tree.

  • Publication number: 20110013810
Abstract: A system for automatically tagging a digital image includes an electronic device having a face detector for receiving a digital image and determining whether the digital image contains at least one face. A faceprint generator generates a faceprint representing a face detected in the digital image. A matching operation attempts to match the faceprint to a reference data item to identify the face represented by the faceprint. If a match is found, a tag generator generates a text tag corresponding to the identity of the face represented by the faceprint, and may associate the tag with the digital image. If a match is not found, the faceprint may be transmitted with an identification request to an external electronic device, which performs the matching operation. Upon matching the faceprint to a reference data item, identification data identifying the face represented by the faceprint may be transmitted from the external electronic device to the originating electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20110016150
Abstract: A system for tagging multiple digital images includes an electronic device having a display for rendering digital images. An interface in the electronic device receives an input of an area of interest within one of the rendered images, and receives a selection of images from among the rendered images to be associated with the area of interest. An input device in the electronic device receives a tag input based on the area of interest to be applied to the associated images. In one embodiment, the input device is a keypad that receives a manual tag input. Alternatively, portions of the rendered images may be transmitted to a network server. The server may compare the image portions to a reference database to identify the subject matter of the image portions, and generate a plurality of suggested tags based on the subject matter.

  • Publication number: 20080166114
Abstract: The invention provides a method and a portable imaging device for deblurring a blurred image recorded by said device comprising; an image recording arrangement for recording image representations of the environment surrounding the device, and a motion-indicator for sensing motions of the device. The method comprises the step of: recording an image representation by using the image recording arrangement; sensing the movements of the device during said recording by using the motion-indicator; and obtaining a blur function corresponding to possible motion blur in the recorded image representation by using the sensed movements.
