  • Patent number: 7600309
Abstract: A method of creating a smooth-to-the-touch Terrazzo pool finish is disclosed. A mixture of 1 part cement to 1-2 parts crushed marble aggregate, ΒΌ part pool sand, and sufficient potable water, is mixed until smooth and creamy in texture. The mixture is pumped to the gunite shell of a pool interior surface and hand trowelled onto the shell. In a still soft state, the trowelled surface is seeded with colored and/or high performance aggregate to create desired surface effects. The seeded elements are then trowelled into the upper layers of the surface until hard. After an initial set has taken, the surface is sprayed with a chemical retarder. Once fully set, following 10-20 hours of curing, the mixture surface is power-washed and diamond sanded until smooth-to-the-touch and acceptable in appearance in terms of exposing the previously seeded surface effects. The pool is then filled, chemically treated, and brushed until the surface is no longer dust producing.

Abstract: A method of creating a smooth-to-the-touch Terrazzo pool finish is disclosed. A mixture of 1 part cement to 1-2 parts crushed marble aggregate, 1/4 part pool sand, and sufficient potable water, is mixed until smooth and creamy in texture. The mixture is pumped to the gunite shell of a pool interior surface and hand trowelled onto the shell. In a still soft state, the trowelled surface is seeded with colored and/or high performance aggregate to create desired surface effects. • Publication number: 20070062212
Abstract: A food dispensing machine includes a product chamber with a dispensing valve connected to the product chamber and having an outlet through which a product contained in the product chamber is dispensed. The product chamber has a cleaning solution inlet connectable to a cleaning solution supply source for receiving cleaning solution into the product chamber. The product chamber further has an ingredient inlet alternatively connectable to either an ingredient supply source or the dispensing valve outlet. When the ingredient inlet is connected to the dispensing valve outlet, a re-circulating flow path is created, allowing for complete cleaning and sanitizing of the product flow path.

  • Patent number: 6246739
Abstract: Passive aerosol retention apparatus positioned in the connecting vents of a nuclear reactor containment are described. The aerosol retention apparatus minimizes aerosol transport from the lower drywell to the upper drywell of the reactor containment. The retention apparatus includes a substantially cylindrical housing and a flow modulator positioned inside the housing and extending at least partially from a first end to a second end of the housing. The flow modulator includes a helically shaped baffle positioned in the housing so as to be coaxial with the housing. The baffle is coupled at each end to the housing by attachment bars.
