  • Publication number: 20230306213
Abstract: The present platform allows for real-time, accurate situational awareness to an augmented reality (AR) system while using low power, low-maintenance wireless tags. In one aspect, the platform may comprise devices, methods, and systems for providing a visual indication associated with an electromagnetic tag associated with a target object in a physical environment, such as inventory in a warehouse or retail environment. The platform may include a portable electronic device comprising a display, a processing unit, and a radar unit; and at least one wireless tag. The platform may be configured to receive information signals from at least one wireless tag attached to at least one target object in a physical environment of a user, and generate a visual indication associated with the tagged target object based at least on the received information signals, said visual indication at least having information corresponding to the object’s location or position.

  • Patent number: 10511100
Abstract: A radio-frequency responsive device includes a dielectric substrate having a first side and an opposite second side. A Van Atta array reflector is printed on the first side of the dielectric substrate. The Van Atta array reflector reflects an incident signal at a predetermined radio frequency at an incident angle. A conductive ground layer is disposed adjacent the second side of the dielectric substrate. In a method of making a radio-frequency responsive device, a Van Atta array reflector is printed on a first side of a dielectric substrate. A conductive ground layer is applied to a second side of the dielectric substrate, in which the second side is opposite the first side.
