  • Patent number: 11638361
Abstract: A locking arrangement can be used for securing electric module cards between two side walls of a housing. The locking arrangement includes two side members for fixed arrangement with the respective side walls. An opening defined between the side members accommodates electric contacts of the electric module cards. A first and a second transverse member form a frame with the side members in order to lock the electric module cards within the housing. A locking mechanism is detachably connects at least one of the transverse members to at least one of the side members by means of a snap-fit.

  • Patent number: 11300592
Abstract: A terminal block for current measurement in a power grid. The terminal block includes a shunt and a temperature sensor, and is configured to be connected to an Intelligent Electronic Device IED and a primary device. Furthermore, a respective IED and a system for current measurement including the IED and the terminal block are disclosed as well as a method for calibration of the system and a method for current measurement in power grids. A voltage measurement unit in the IED is adapted to measure a voltage drop at the shunt; a current flowing through the shunt can be calculated from the temperature and from calibration data. The terminal block enables a particularly efficient calibration method.

  • Publication number: 20210367420
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an IED configured for use as a protection relay in an electric power system. The IED comprises a plurality of cassettes connected to a backplane, with at least two cassettes mounted adjacent each other. Each of the cassettes comprises a housing profile in the form of a rectangular tube having an envelope wall of a heat conducting material, and at least one electronic card arranged in a card slot within the tube formed by the housing profile, which at least one card is electrically connected to the backplane. Adjacent cassettes are separated a distance such that air canals are formed between their respective housing profiles.

  • Publication number: 20110208353
Abstract: A method to control an industrial robot with a tool including at least one actuator. The industrial robot has at least one robot arm with a tool holder arranged on the arm. A contactless power supply is provided to the at least one actuator of the tool. Control signals are transmitted to and/or received from at least one wireless node including a radio communicator arranged on the tool. Radio technology is utilized that works in a high frequency band from 400 MHz and higher with significant interference suppression by spread spectrum technology.
