    Abstract: This patent relates to a mobile terminal and a method of controlling an operation of the same. The method of controlling an operation of a mobile terminal includes displaying a file list and scroll arrows for scrolling the file list on a touch screen. When the scroll arrow is touched and entered, the file list is scrolled at a scroll speed previously set in response to a time when the scroll arrow is touched and entered. A vibration signal to identify at least one of a scroll speed and a current scrolling position of the file list is provided. Accordingly, when a file list is scrolled, a scroll speed or a current scrolling position can be easily identified by a tactile sense.

    Abstract: A packet switched radio telecommunication system supporting hard handover adapts Always_on technology to a link between a target packet data serving node (PDSN) and a support PDSN. The support PDSN assigns a temporary IP address to a mobile terminal in its service area, and transmits handover data and the mobile terminal's temporary IP address to the target PDSN via a direct link when the mobile terminal leaves the service area. The target PDSN, upon receiving a registration request for the temporary IP address from the mobile terminal moved to its service area, temporarily registers the temporary IP address in an IP pool. The target PDSN receives down-link frame data for the mobile terminal at the temporarily registered IP address from the support PDSN via the direct link. A new temporary IP address is assigned by the target PDSN when data transmission/reception is complete to the mobile terminal.

    Abstract: An aerogel type platinum-ruthenium-carbon catalyst of microporous structure maintaining long-term high catalytic activity, suitable for a direct methanol fuel cell, is manufactured by a sol-gel process, and supercritical drying while maintaining a microporous structure. The catalyst contains 5 to 70% by weight of platinum and ruthenium, remainder carbon, the platinum and ruthenium atomic ratio being of 1/4 to 4/1. Metal salts and base catalyst are added to a solution of organic gel materials, a solution of basic amine is added to the first solution, and the pH of the resulting solution is adjusted forming a sol, the sol is aged at 40 to 90 for 1 to 20 days forming and stabilizing the gel, solvent is removed from the gel by supercritical drying, and finally the aerogel is carbonized in an inert atmosphere, followed by hydrogen reduction.

A method for producing C.sub.2 compounds using the thusly produced catalyst includes reacting a mixed gas composed of methane, oxygen and helium in the presence of 5.about.20 g.multidot.min/L of the Pb-substituted hydroxyapatite catalyst according to the present invention, at a high temperature of at least 600.degree. C.
