Abstract: An image sensor includes a clock signal generator configured to generate and output at least first and second clock signals, a plurality of pixels configured to generate associated distance signals based on corresponding clock signals from among the at least first and second clock signals and light reflected by an object, and a distance information deciding unit configured to determine distance information with respect to the object by using the associated distance signals. Abstract: Disclosed is a display apparatus including a first case and a second case coupled to each other to define an external appearance of the display apparatus. A fastening guide extends from an inner surface of the first case, and a fastening member is engaged with the fastening guide. The fastening member is provided with a boss portion for screw-fastening. The first case and second case are coupled to each other using the fastening guide and fastening member having a thin thickness, whereby a reduced thickness of fastening parts and stable inter-coupling of the first case and second case are accomplished.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for reducing interference between systems when a plurality of wireless access systems are co-located are disclosed. To support CLC mode, an MS in the CRC mode transmits a handover request message to a first Base Station (BS) to initiate a handover process, receives a handover command message acknowledging the handover request message from the first BS, transmits a ranging request message to second BS at network reentry after handover, and receives from the second BS a ranging response message including CRC start time information that set by the second BS.

Abstract: A method for operating a relay station in a wireless communication system includes: obtaining information regarding assigned subframes among a plurality of subframes; monitoring a PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control Channel) carrying information regarding a radio resource allocation within the assigned subframes; and receiving data from a base station on the basis of the radio resource allocation of the monitored PDCCH. The relay station may operate to guarantee compatibility with an existing terminal in a wireless communication system. Also, a method for assigning radio resources between a base station and the relay station is defined.

Abstract: In preferred aspect, the present invention features a membrane humidifier for a fuel cell which can control the amount of air flow and the amount of humidification based on the amount of water produced in a fuel cell stack according to a power level of the fuel cell stack while humidifying dry air and supplying humidified air to the fuel cell stack.

A state of paper or a state of handwriting input to the paper is detected and a corresponding result value is displayed on the display unit, thus improving emotional quality of the electric device.

Abstract: An apparatus and method of page program operation is provided. When performing a page program operation with a selected memory device, a memory controller loads the data into the page buffer of one selected memory device and also into the page buffer of another selected memory device in order to store a back-up copy of the data. In the event that the data is not successfully programmed into the memory cells of the one selected memory device, then the memory controller recovers the data from the page buffer of the other memory device. Since a copy of the data is stored in the page buffer of the other memory device, the memory controller does not need to locally store the data in its data storage elements.

An amplifier stage coupled to the digital to analog converter amplifies the analog representation of the encoded and modulated transmit signal to generate a transmission signal. The transmitter further comprises an amplifier control block configured to generate an amplifier control signal for adjusting at least one parameter of the amplifier stage. At least one mapper is provided in the amplifier control block, used to determine the amplifier control signal based on a peak to average power ratio and an average transmit power of the transmission signal.

More specifically, it relates to a low-calorie/low-fat dressing and mayonnaise formulation wherein the dietary fiber content and emulsifying stability are improved by carrying out a high-temperature heat treatment together with ultrasonication during the cross-linking of starch, and fibrous fiber with reduced starch particle size is added to lower the fat content and improve the emulsifying stability.

The touch panel divides the area into first and second areas, where the size of the first area corresponds to that of a display unit. The controller performs user functions according to touch events that occur on the first and second areas. The mobile device can increase the usable space in the installation of the touch screen. The method can efficiently operate the touch panel of the touch screen.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for random access control in a directional communication system is disclosed. The method includes omni-directionally transmitting start time and duration information associated with data to be transmitted, the duration information indicating a duration of transmission of the data to be transmitted to a target station within a random access period; and directionally transmitting, subsequent to the omni-transmitting, the data to the target station beginning at the start time. Data collision caused by overlapped antenna beams linking remote stations can be prevented and communication can be reliably performed.

Abstract: A system including a memory system and a memory controller is connected to a host system. The memory system has at least one memory device storing data. The controller translates the requests from the host system to one or more separatable commands interpretable by the at least one memory device. Each command has a modular structure including an address identifier for one of the at least one memory devices and a command identifier representing an operation to be performed by the one of the at least one memory devices. The at least one memory device and the controller are in a series-connection configuration for communication such that only one memory device is in communication with the controller for input into the memory system. The memory system can include a plurality of memory devices connected to a common bus.
