Abstract: Provided are a lens unit, a lens assembly, a camera module, a method of fabricating the camera module and the lens assembly, a method of fabricating an optic member, and an apparatus of fabricating the optic member. The lens unit comprises a lens portion and a supporting portion. The lens portion has a curved surface. The supporting portion extends from the lens portion. The supporting portion comprises a protrusion or a recess. The method of fabricating the optic member comprises injecting a resin composition inside a mold die, pressing the resin composition; and irradiating light onto the resin composition. Due to the pressure, shrinkage of a photo-curable resin composition can be reduced, and thus, the lens unit comprising the protrusion or recess can be easily fabricated.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for locating a terminal in a broadband wireless communication system are provided. The apparatus for locating the terminal includes a candidate region determiner, a virtual location determiner, and a final location determiner. The candidate region determiner determines a candidate region of the terminal by using tag signal arrival time information of the terminal provided from a plurality of readers. The virtual location determiner determines a virtual location of the terminal in the candidate region in consideration of a propagation delay of the tag signal. The final location determiner predicts a tag signal arrival time from the virtual location and determines the virtual location as the final location if a difference between the predicted tag signal arrival time and a measured tag signal arrival time is less than or equal to a threshold value. The apparatus and method provide a less expensive and less complex locating system.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for locating a terminal in a broadband wireless communication system are provided. The apparatus for locating the terminal includes a candidate region determiner, a virtual location determiner, and a final location determiner. Abstract: A system and method for transmitting/receiving a multicast/broadcast signal in a communication system are provided, in which if the communication system includes at least one zone to which the same service is provided and the zone includes at least one ASN_GW and at least one BS connected to the ASN_GW, the ASN_GW generates a second multicast/broadcast signal using a received first multicast/broadcast signal according to information about the zone, generates time information indicating a time when the BS is to transmit the second multicast/broadcast signal, and transmits the second multicast/broadcast signal and the time information to the BS.

Abstract: A Multicast and Broadcast Service (MBS) apparatus and method in a Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) system are provided. The method for providing a broadcast service in the BWA system includes requesting, at MBSC, allocation of MBS bursts by transmitting a profile number to BS; and acquiring, at the BS, MBS burst information by accessing to a profile table using the profile number received from the MBSC.
