  • Publication number: 20060148563
Abstract: A gaming peripheral apparatus for a gaming computing device includes a passive marker and an interactive input device. The passive marker has a surface covered with a reflective layer for reflecting light invisible to human eyes. The interactive input device includes at least one light source, an image sensing module, a filter unit, and an interface module. Each light source emits light that is invisible to human eyes and that is to be reflected by the passive marker. The image sensing module generates image data corresponding to images that include the passive marker and that are sensed thereby. The filter unit is disposed in front of the image sensing module, and filters light visible to human eyes from the images sensed by the image sensing module. The interface module is coupled electrically to the image sensing module, and is adapted for transmitting the image data to the gaming computing device.

  • Publication number: 20050207636
Abstract: An automatic-packaging apparatus which can package an optical sensing module with a preferred distance between a lens and an optical sensor includes a base, an image-analyzing module, a distance-adjusting module, and a stain-detecting module. The automatic-packaging apparatus packages a lens and an optical sensor separated in a preferred distance into an optical sensing module, and is able to detect if there are stains on the lens or there are flaws in the optical sensor. The advantages of the automatic-packaging apparatus are to package and detect optical modules quickly, efficiently and accurately.

  • Patent number: 6639806
Abstract: The invention is to provide a motherboard assembly including a motherboard complying with a first industry standard specification and an expansion board for providing the motherboard with at least one slot. The expansion board is detachably connected to the motherboard. In particular, when the expansion board is connected to the motherboard, the motherboard assembly complies with a second industry standard specification. Moreover, the first and second industry standard specifications have a position compatibility. The expansion board also provides with the slot following an interface specification which the motherboard does not follows. The motherboard assembly, according to the invention, can reduce cost thereof during design, manufacture, maintain and test.

  • Publication number: 20020046367
Abstract: A method for preventing data corruption in a Floppy Diskette Controller, which determines the potential for data loss and/or data corruption on the data transfer by determining if, before each data transfer byte is read out or written in the floppy diskette in DMA mode, the maximum delay time for DMA request (DREQ) from the issue to the removal is greater than a specific value, and initializing a specific process by the computer system according to the comparison result.
