    Abstract: A method and system for managing widgets in a portable terminal is disclosed. If a request is made to register a widget in the widget tray having already the preset number of widgets, the lowest priority widget is removed from the widget tray. Information regarding the removed widget is stored in the reserved stack. If at least one widget is removed from the widget tray, the widget stored in the reserved stack is automatically registered in the widget tray. Accordingly, the widget tray can maintain the preset number of widgets in the widget tray.

    Abstract: There is provided a method of manufacturing a wafer level device package, the method including: forming a conductive pad on at least one area of a substrate; forming a first insulation layer on the substrate, the first insulation layer having an opening allowing the conductive pad to be exposed; forming a wiring layer connected to the conductive pad on the first insulation layer; forming a conductive diffusion barrier layer on the wiring layer to seal the wiring layer; forming a second insulation layer on the diffusion barrier layer, the second insulation layer having a contact hole allowing a part of diffusion barrier layer to be exposed; and forming a bump pad in the contact hole. This method allows for a reduction in processing time and costs by substituting a simple electroless plating process for a complicated photolithography process in the formation of the bump pad and the diffusion barrier layer.

The gate lines are formed on the substrate and cross the data lines. The thin film transistors are connected to the gate and data lines, and each thin film transistor includes a drain electrode. The pixel electrodes are connected to the thin film transistors and are arranged in a matrix, and each of the pixel electrodes has a first side disposed in parallel with the gate lines and a second side adjacent to the first side and shorter than the first side. In the LCD, the predetermined portion of each of the drain electrodes is overlapped with only one of two adjacent pixel electrodes if the polarities of the adjacent pixel electrodes are different, and the predetermined portion of each of the drain electrodes is overlapped with both of the adjacent pixel electrodes if the polarities are the same.

    Abstract: A method of driving gate lines is used to activate the gate lines by outputting output signals of stages to the gate lines. A first node is boosted up based upon a carry signal or the vertical start signal from a previous stage. A gate signal that is pulled up is outputted through an output terminal of a present stage based upon a first clock signal which is boosted up. An off-voltage is outputted through the output terminal of the present stage in response to an output signal from a next stage or the vertical start signal. The first node is discharged in response to the output signal from the next stage or a carry signal from a last stage. A positive ripple voltage at the first node is removed by providing a negative ripple voltage to the first node.

The channel assessment procedure may be performed periodically, and is preferably scheduled to allow other devices not to use the channel for the time interval which at least one device performs channel assessment.

    Abstract: A method for performing beam tracking in a wireless communication network is provided. In the method, a transmitter station emits beam patterns including respective beam pattern indices to receiver stations and receives a feedback index indicating one of the beam patterns from each receiver station during a predetermined channel time after the emission of beam patterns is completed. A beam pattern feedback is processed using a simple code, thereby minimizing the amount of information and hardware required for beam search and tracking. In addition, in uni-directional beam tracking, it is possible to perform tracking on a number of beam links at once and a sub-channel that can be used for beam tracking and search is allocated to each station to allow a number of stations to simultaneously perform beam search, thereby reducing the amount of used channel time.
