    Abstract: A switching circuit is disposed on a power receiving device and is electrically connected to a Universal Serial Bus Type-C (USB Type-C) connector of the power receiving device. The switching circuit includes a determination module, a PD controller, and a mode switching module. The determination module is configured to: determine whether a power supply device supports a power delivery (PD) mode according to a pin signal of a configuration channel (CC) pin of the USB Type-C connector; and generate a first switching signal based on the fact that the power supply device does not support the PD mode. The PD controller is electrically connected to the pin signal determination module. The mode switching module is selectively electrically connected to the PD controller and configured to be disconnected from the PD controller based on the first switching signal.

    Abstract: A system and a method for interface management are provided. The system includes a main processor, a switch, and a first sub-circuit. The main processor includes a universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter (UART) interface and a control interface. The switch is coupled to the UART interface and the control interface. The first sub-circuit includes a first sub-interface. The first sub-interface is coupled to the switch. The switch conducts a transmission path between the UART interface and the first sub-interface according to a control signal received through the control interface. A single UART interface could be used to connect multiple sub-circuits having the UART interface.

    Abstract: A positioning system includes an image capturing device and a light-emitting microphone. When the microphone is working, a light emitting portion of the microphone emits light. The image capturing device captures an image of an area to include the light-emitting portion with an unadjusted capturing angle and focal distance and can adjusts the capturing angle and the focal distance to obtain an adjusted image. The light-emitting portion is to be located at a preset coordinated position in the target image before adjustments are made. The image capturing device captures images including a speaker at the microphone, applying an adjusting capturing angle and an adjusted focal distance. A positioning system is also disclosed.

The comparator is configured for comparing the voltage at the universal serial bus interface and the voltage of the battery, and to produce an ON signal when the voltage at the serial bus interface exceeds the voltage of the battery, or to produce an OFF signal otherwise. The first switch is configured for establishing an electrical connection between the USB interface and the charger upon receiving the ON signal or cutting off the connection upon receiving the OFF signal. The second switch is configured for establishing a connection between the universal serial bus interface and the battery when the connection between the USB interface and the charger is terminated by the first switch.

    Abstract: A telephone includes a phone-set and a handset. The phone-set includes an infrared emitter and a processor driving the infrared emitter to emit infrared light. When the telephone is on-hook, the infrared light is reflected to the handset. The handset reflects the infrared light back to the phone-set, and the infrared light reflected back from the handset is eventually received by an infrared detector of the phone-set. Thus, the processor determines on/off-hook states of the telephone according to reception of the infrared light by the infrared detector.
