Abstract: An organic light-emitting panel includes a data line, a scan line, a voltage applying line, a switching device, an organic light emitting device and a driving device. The voltage applying line satisfies a condition expressed as i ? a ^ ? ? ? V ? ( max ) n < A ? i ? a ^ ? ? ? Vdata GS n ? ? [ Volt ] , wherein ?Vmax is a maximum voltage drop, ‘n’ is a number of pixels those are electrically connected to the voltage applying line, ‘A’ is a correction coefficient that is in a range from about 1 to about 2, ?Vdata is a voltage difference between the gray scales, and GS is a number of gray scale. • Publication number: 20050183661
Abstract: An apparatus includes a drop unit, a transfer unit and a position adjusting unit. The drop unit drops droplets of an organic material. The transfer unit transfers the drop unit along a first direction. The position adjusting unit is interposed between the drop unit and the transfer unit to adjust a position of the drop unit. Therefore, the apparatus of dropping the organic material has a small size and may drop droplets of the organic material onto an accurate position. Furthermore, the transfer unit moves the drop unit quickly, and the position adjusting unit adjusts the position of the drop unit accurately. Therefore, a time difference for drying the organic material injected into a cavity is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20050142975
Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a light emitting element, a plurality of first electrodes arranged in a matrix shape is formed on a pixel area of a base substrate. A bank is formed between the first electrodes. A light emitting material is ejected on a portion of the first electrodes spaced apart from one another to form a plurality of first light emitting patterns. The light emitting material is erected on a portion of the first electrodes between the first light emitting patterns to form a plurality of second light emitting patterns. A second electrode is formed on the first and second light emitting patterns. Therefore, a luminance of the light emitting element is improved and uniformized.

  • Publication number: 20050133802
Abstract: A display apparatus includes a light-emitting unit. The light-emitting unit includes a first electrode, a bank, an organic light-emitting layer and a second electrode. The first electrode is formed on a substrate. The first electrode receives a first driving signal from a circuit unit. The bank surrounds sides of the first electrode and has a receiving portion formed on an upper face of the bank. The organic light-emitting layer is formed on the first electrode. The second electrode is formed on the organic light-emitting layer. The second electrode receives a second driving signal from the circuit unit. Therefore, even though the organic light-emitting material is abnormally dropped onto an unintended position, the receiving portion prevents the organic light-emitting material from flowing into a neighboring cavity, so that yield increases and productivity is enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20050110852
Abstract: In an apparatus for supplying a droplet on a substrate and a method of manufacturing a display apparatus, the apparatus includes a base body, a dropping unit and a vapor supplying unit. The base body corresponds to the substrate disposed on a stage. The dropping unit is disposed on the base body. The dropping unit includes a nozzle to drop the droplet on the substrate. The vapor supplying unit is disposed adjacent to the dropping unit to supply the droplet dropped onto the substrate with a volatile solvent vapor. Therefore, an evaporation rate of the droplet dropped onto pixels is adjusted to uniformize a thickness of the layer, thereby improving the image display quality.

  • Publication number: 20050104945
Abstract: In an apparatus of forming a thin film, the apparatus has a printing chamber that forms a thin film on a substrate. The apparatus has at least two drying chambers that receive the substrate on which the thin film is formed and dry the thin film on the substrate. The two drying chambers may be independently controlled. Accordingly, the apparatus may reduce process time for forming the thin film without contamination of the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20040145304
Abstract: There are provided an organic EL device and a method of fabricating the same. An effective display area on which an anode electrode, an organic luminescence layer and a cathode electrode are formed is sealed by means of a metal can, a glass cap or an organic/inorganic material. A power source is applied to the anode and the cathode electrodes through a power transferring part extended from the effective display area to a non-effective display area. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the oxidation of the cathode electrode of the organic EL device, thereby preventing the electrical contact characteristics of the cathode electrode from being deteriorated.
