  • Patent number: 11487045
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for recovering a porosity evolution process of sequence stratigraphy of carbonate rocks. The method comprises: a step of establishing a sequence stratigraphic framework of carbonate rocks; a step of dividing diagenetic stages; a step of simulating diagenesis and porosity evolution with increasing reservoir thickness and continuous superposition of multiple reservoirs during cyclic rise and fall of sea level to obtain a simulation result; and a step of calculating the porosity evolution in space over time by using the simulation result as initial values for simulation of diagenetic evolution process and simulating in stages and continuity the multi-stage diagenetic evolution process that the carbonate rock strata undergo after sediment based on the divided diagenetic stages.

  • Patent number: 10810524
Abstract: Features related to a system and method for dynamic resource prediction simulation are described. The predictions consider historical data collected by the organization or user revisions to planning inputs to predict the amount of a resource needed for a certain task and the amount of the resource able to perform the tasks. The system and method displays the predictions in a visual representation including control elements allowing a user to simulate a variety of scenarios and situations to allow the organization to properly reallocate resources or acquire an appropriate amount of the resource.

  • Patent number: 9466043
Abstract: Embodiments may include a forecasting component that, for each of different service levels offered to customers, generates a projection of the quantity of shipments to be shipped according to that service level during a time period. The forecasting component may be configured to, based on an aggregate quantity of shipments projected to be shipped, modify the projected quantities of shipments for the multiple service levels. The forecasting component may, for each service level, receive information specifying a distribution of different shipment methods that are projected to be utilized to ship shipments of a particular priority designation to meet requirements of that service level. The forecasting component may, based on the distribution for each service level and the modified projected quantity of shipments for each service level, generate a forecast specifying quantities of shipments that are to be shipped during the time period according to each of the different shipment methods.

  • Publication number: 20120246090
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the generation of shipping labels that aid in delivery of shipments. In one example, at least a portion of a carrier infrastructure is identified that is to be used to deliver each one of a plurality of shipments, where each of the shipments corresponds to one of a plurality of destination locations. A shipping label is generated for each of the shipments. Each shipping label expresses both a respective one of the destination locations and a recitation of the portion of the carrier infrastructure employed to deliver a corresponding one of the shipments to a respective one of the destination locations.

  • Publication number: 20100064159
Abstract: Power management of a system. A request may be received to enter a first sleep state for a system. One or more processes may be performed to enter the first sleep state in response to the request to enter the first sleep state. A system memory of the system may be stored in a nonvolatile memory (NVM) in response to the request to enter the first sleep state in order to enter a second sleep state. Power may be removed from the system memory after storing the system memory in the NVM in response to the request to enter the first sleep state. After removing power to the system memory, the system may be in the second sleep state.

  • Publication number: 20080024047
Abstract: A decorative door for a cooler includes a frame featuring a circumferential slot and a circumferential chamber that are in communication with one another. The frame is adapted for mounting to a cooler in a hinged fashion. An interior transparent panel is secured by its edges within the circumferential slot of the frame and features a decorative channel formed therein. A number of light-emitting diodes serve as light sources positioned in the circumferential chamber and illuminate the decorative channel of the interior transparent panel. Inner surface and outer surface transparent panels are mounted to the frame on opposite sides of the interior transparent panel and the spaces there between are at least partially evacuated of air. The frame also includes a circumferential passage containing an insulating material, such as molecular mesh.

  • Publication number: 20050201423
Abstract: A control and compensation method for laser outputting is used to compensate power of laser outputting within an unstable working area for obtaining consistence of energy same as the state in a stable working area, and is characterized by that: before laser outputting, a short pulse is used to energize laser to increase reaction speed of the laser; and an unstable working area thereafter is divided into several sections, each section represents a reaction time value, and a table is used to record compensation power value required for each corresponding reaction time value; so that when the laser outputting is within said unstable working area, its power is compensated in reference to the table for various positions of the sections. Thereby the pulse energy can be averagely controlled to get a good output power, the method is applicable to various laser-outputting equipment for reducing operation of adjustment.
