  • Patent number: 9343747
Abstract: Disclosed is an electrode catalyst comprising: (a) a support with a specific surface area of at least 1200 m2/g; and (b) platinum or platinum-containing alloy particles on the support, wherein the platinum is supported on the electrode catalyst in an amount of 56˜90 wt % based on the total weight of the electrode catalyst. A membrane electrode assembly (MEA) comprising the electrode catalyst and a fuel cell using the MEA are also disclosed. The electrode catalyst comprises platinum or platinum-containing alloy particles highly dispersed on a support with a large surface area in an amount of 56 wt % or more, and thus has an extended catalytically active region, resulting in improvement in the quality of a fuel cell.

  • Patent number: 9054384
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for preventing metal catalyst particles supported on a support and formed of a catalytically active metal or metal-containing alloy from coarsening, the method comprising: dispersing an anti-coarsening compound having a coarsening temperature higher than that of the metal catalyst, in at least one region selected from the group consisting of interstitial spaces among the metal catalyst particles and contact sites between the support and the metal catalyst particles. The electrode catalyst is structurally stable while not causing degradation of electrochemical quality, and thus can improve the longevity properties of a fuel cell.

  • Patent number: 5991227
Abstract: The present invention discloses a latch circuit used when latching an address signal or a control signal of a semiconductor memory device. In particular, the present invention discloses a clock sync latch circuit which is separately implemented to input two input signals having opposite polarities so that respective outputs corresponding to the two inputs can be outputted from each of the rising and falling edges of one clock signal. Therefore, though a skew occurs when a memory chip operates at high frequency, the number of collision between the data according to the clock signal can be prevented since it is synchronized by the same clock signal, thus preventing a malfunction of the memory chip. Also, it can obtain a large margin in the design area since only a single latch circuit can be employed.
