  • Publication number: 20190163847
Abstract: Disclosed are a method, apparatus, and system for predicting a spread of a disaster with respect to multiple disasters. According to the present disclosure, the method includes: receiving disaster-related information; generating a disaster-connection scenario by applying a regional characteristic and connection between disasters to the disaster-related information; performing disaster modeling on each of the disasters that make up the disaster-connection scenario; and predicting a spread of the multiple disasters by integrating results of the disaster modeling. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, it is possible that a spread of multiple disasters originated from a single disaster situation is predicted and provided in real time. Also, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, it is possible that a multi-disaster situation predicted in real time is checked and preparation for natural disasters and multiple disasters in advance is performed.

  • Publication number: 20060253541
Abstract: An apparatus and method for performing an instant messenger function using a local area network (LAN) is provided whereby a first portable terminal and second portable terminals perform an instant messenger function via short-range communication. The first portable terminals and the second portable terminals respectively store user information and exchange the stored user information to establish themselves as messenger objects. The first portable terminal searches the second portable terminals of the messenger objects located within the short-range communication area obtains user information of the searched second portable terminals of messenger objects and updates the user information. The searched second portable terminals of the messenger objects are displayed as being active to allow a user to check the searched messenger objects and to perform an instant messenger function.

  • Publication number: 20060146774
Abstract: The present invention establishes an SCO link between a CTP gateway and a headset so that voice packets can be transmitted directly to each other. In the present invention, a CTP terminal is connected to the CTP gateway through CTP, and the headset is connected to the CTP terminal through HSP/HFP. If the headset requests origination of a call or a call terminates at the CTP gateway in a scatternet state where the headset is connected to the CTP gateway via an ACL link, an SCO link is established between the CTP gateway and the headset through intervention of the CTP terminal, and voice packets for a voice communication are transmitted to each other via the established SCO link.

  • Publication number: 20060135218
Abstract: A battery charge remaining level indicating method of a wireless headset is disclosed. A remaining charge amount of a battery, disposed in a wireless headset and supplying power to the wireless headset, is transmitted to a mobile communication terminal connected to the wireless headset via short-range wireless communication, and indicated on a display. The battery charge remaining level is periodically discriminated by the wireless headset when the wireless headset and the mobile communication terminal are connected via short-range wireless communication. The discriminated information on the battery charge remaining level is transmitted to the mobile communication terminal. The mobile communication terminal discriminates the information on the battery charge remaining level transmitted by the wireless headset and indicates the battery charge remaining level on the display.

  • Publication number: 20060089175
Abstract: A method for call switchover in a wireless headset that is wirelessly coupled to a mobile station comprises transmitting user input related to a call service from the wireless headset to the mobile station. The method also comprises determining whether the user input related to the call service is received during a preset threshold time while a call is ongoing, the call being wirelessly executed by the wireless headset via the mobile station. The method also comprises performing a call switching operation associated with the call service based on whether the user input related to the call service is received during the preset threshold time while the call is ongoing. The wireless headset and the mobile station may be interconnected via a short-range wireless communication to execute telephone communication. The short-range wireless communication may comprise a Bluetooth (BT) wireless communication to form a synchronous connection oriented (SCO) link.

  • Publication number: 20060079181
Abstract: A bluetooth CTP (Cordless Telephony Profile) mobile telecommunication terminal, a bluetooth CTP gateway, and a connection method thereof are provided such that the function of both a wire telephone and a wireless telephone are enabled in one mobile telecommunication terminal. A CTP terminal attempts a CTP connection to a CTP gateway only upon receiving a bluetooth profile from the CTP gateway, the profile requesting the CTP connection. Even when the position of the CTP gateway is changed, there is no need to re-register the new CTP gateway position in the CTP terminal and electric power consumption of the CTP terminal may be reduced. Since connection between the CTP terminal and the CTP gateway is implemented using only bluetooth technology, additional costs incurred due to use of another technology are reduced and a lower price may be achieved.
